Hey guys. I appreciate all the work here, and I am jumping on the flagging train. I want to help stop this abuse. It makes us look really bad when immature, disrespectful kids go on youtube and talk about this or do this. These need to be flagged!!"DMT diaries 1/4""DMT Diaries 2/4""DMT Diaries 3/4""DMT Diaries 4/4"And this guy.... MHRB, lye, water, a "bi-polar solvent" HAHAHAHAHA Bi-polar solvent... okay. How to make DMT""Some more. "Adam Vs DMT" Edit: I decided to take these off. It seems like he is not as bad as I first thought. I did a bit more research. 3... 2... 1... As far as these vids go. I think the first one does send a bad message regarding DMT, and I really have no problem with it getting flagged. As to the people just telling their stories about their experience with DMT. What's wrong with that? They have every right to communicate their thoughts using YouTube as a medium. I don't think they deserve to get flagged, they're just telling their story. As far as the diaries go, if I remember it right I think the guy was outside and possibly in some locations that could be dangerous, so I have no problem with his videos getting flagged, as his activites seemed rather unsafe. If I remember the vids correctly. As for the How To Make DMT, I thought that video was hillarious "bipolar solvent", that's good shit, it's way too funny to get flagged (kidding). I think jibbering about a chemical extraction like that is not safe, and I don't see a problem with it getting flagged. As to the Adam Vs the DMT. I know there are many mixed veiws out there but I just want to say that I really have no problem with him at all whatsoever. I think he is rather outspoken and articulate in his mission to try to change the status quo on people's perception of drugs. He is fighting to try to change how society veiws drugs and whether you like his personality or not, I think he's fighting the good fight. (I also respect Joe Rogan too, for this very reason) I honestly would like to see more people stand up for what they believe in on this matter and not be afraid to show the world a different side of things. Honestly I think flagging Adam is against the longterm goal of seeing drugs legalized. I don't think he is using DMT irresponsibly, therefore I don't think he should be flagged. Some may not like his personality, but I challenge them to take a step back and see what he is trying to accomplish with his videos. Shouldn't we only flag irresponsible videos? If you feel that Adam's DMT vids are irresponsible then that is up to you, but I personally don't. As you can probably guess from my earlier posts that my tone was a bit more aggressive on this matter and quite over the top and outspoken, but I've wisened up a little in my time on here. Really I don't think we should flag people just telling their story (which they have every right to). However if their story is actively promoting unsafe use of the drug than I see no problem with such a video getting flagged. As the goal is to stop the irresponsible use of DMT. However if someone is using safely then I see no reason to flag the video as I think that does more harm than good to our cause. Likewise if someone is just telling a story as to how the drug effected them I certainly see no problem whatsoever, in fact I think that type of communication is what we encourage here on the Nexus. Just because the medium is YouTube, doesn't change whats being communicated. I think we need to try to see it from that perspective. Either way my personal philosphy is one of freedom of expression and free speech, so I still will not participate in flagging. However as our goal is to promote the responsible use of psychedelics I see no harm in flagging blatantly irresponsible videos. So in that regard, Godspeed. I just wanted to share my veiws on the matter, hopefully in a more thought out and articualte fashion than my lunatic rants several months ago. Peace. The first three I wasn't so sure about. That's why i kind of marked them saying I wasn't sure. The one's I didn't like the most were the "DMT diaries" and the "How to make DMT" one. I just feel like it is putting out a bad message about it. And in the "Adam Vs DMT" there is one video where he says that his face got raped with the truth of the universe. I don't like that image being out there. He also buys his spice from Silk Road. The online black market. That is not a very safe way to do it. Who knows what you're getting, and it can cause legal problems. Though we may be able to understand some of these the general public will get a bad perspective when they hear stuff like this. You do not have to flag any of these by any means. I am going to continue to with the ones I feel necessary (people extracting on video. people smoking on video.) I understand where you are coming from though. The "bi-polar solvent" remark is quite funny, right? Hahaha. His solvent must have mood swings. He really doesn't have much of a clue about what he is saying from what it seems. I have very little knowledge of chemistry (enough to do the extractions) and I know what the terms polar and non polar solvents mean. Everyone, feel free to choose if you want to flag the videos I post or not. They are basically suggestions.3... 2... 1... BLAST OFF!!!!FFO TSALB ...1 ...2 ...3 My grafting guide

When it comes to the Silk Road my philosophy is that yes it can be dangerous, but it's a far better alternative than hustling the streets, as many psychonauts do. And while I know that the Silk Road goes against our creed if buying our selling drugs, I look at it from a different perspective. I've read economics articles on the Silk Road and how it legitimizes a black market economy in a way that forces countries to reevaluate their drug policy. Yes it can be dangerous as you don't know what you're getting, but it's a step in the right direction for a drug market as I've said the Silk Road legitimizes it and allows drugs to be seen as a marketable commodity, which makes it great for the ultimate goal of drug legalization, and I'm for that. Likewise it's safer than buying drugs on the streets. And this isn't just about DMT it's about all drugs, and while sure it's dangerous because you don't know what you're getting, but it's in a business model which means that if people selling the drugs want to stay in business they have incentive to make the best quality products. It's not like they can rely on ads to trick the public. That being said, I actually think talk of the Silk Road is a good thing. Likewise as to the "raped by the universe" comment, I think it's rather humorous. it's just a rhetorical choice, I don't see anything threatening there. He's just expressing how he feels. So you don't like that image, fine but I don't think playing censor is appropriate just based on rhetorical choices. It's seems rather snobbish to play the censor like that, IMO. I've seen far more colorful analogies on these forums. I used the phrase "busting that hyperspace cherry" on my first trip report and that can be construed as vulgar. I don't think colorful descriptions warrant flagging. He also goes into detail about a trip which I think is helpful to people curious about DMT and I think he uses the drug safely. Also I'm not trying to rehash my position, I really just wanted to address the Silk Road concern. I do understand your position though. I just think trying to go against Adam is shooting yourself in the foot, if you believe in the ultimate goal of drug legalization, if you don't believe in that then by all means. Maybe I should look further into it. I just saw him buying spice off the Silk Road then smoking it on youtube and it turned me off. But I looked more into it, and I decided to take his videos off my link. 3... 2... 1... BLAST OFF!!!!FFO TSALB ...1 ...2 ...3 My grafting guide

i think it's well made and very cool, but i don't understand why they are mixing the lye in a bowl with the spice powder when it could more easily and safely be mixed in a closed container. also i don't think it's a good idea to have this on youtube as it's too accessible to the people that don't have to work at taking the necessary steps in harm reduction. just my thoughts... but i like it Also i don't understand why he using a baster to get some of the naphtha out when he has a separatory funnel? i'd use one or the other... he could just use a regular bottle and a baster.

I saw the Adam vs the DMT video and he took like 10 massive hits and was still moving around, hitting it more and the like, he must have had some weak spice! One or 2 big drags like that with some alien stuff and I would have been disembodied.................. Meditate before you venture, take it seriously, use it as medicinal—it is good psychotherapy if needed. Realize that you, the Earth, others, and the Universe are all one and the same process. Then take that knowledge back to become, as you already are, one with nature. Eternity in every moment. Divinity in every particle. All is one organism.

I never new he was in to this kind of chemistry So from a quick glance I see an old chap using proper saftey goggles and gloves. He seems to know what he's doing. What's wrong with the video?

its interesting where things have ended up since the formation of this thread.. mimosa hostilis for example is now a thing of the past.. and a. confusa is certainly doomed to the same fate in my opinion
