If we have same seeds in potency, then the difference could be the pressure pot. I also wash the strained seeds with a bit of water, strain and use that water, before refilling again for the next boil.
We could have different seeds, and if you're not yielding more with more boils, that's an indicator.
My last seeds were from Pakistan IIRC.
