I had to read this a few times before realizing you must have got an autocorrect - "bedtime" = "benzine" - or was the dozing off theme permeating the thread a bit more than anticipated?
Bahahaha

great catch lmao. It's ironic because it was getting close to my bedtime! But, yeah, un1corn said they're using BESTINE (just typed that slow to make sure I got it right).
Do you prefer ph strips over the meters? If so, why? Wondering for my future endeavors. I can see it being simpler since there's 0 need for any calibration.
One love

I prefer pH strips because I already have them. In principle I have a pH meter but it lacks a probe and I've taken no steps to source or make one. Just another thing for the infinite list, and I rather tend to avoid purchasing anything online for a number of reasons including being utterly broke.
Just to fill out the picture a bit, instead of working on attaching some legs to a worktop for my greenhouse or doing anything for the cactus extraction teks, I noticed how beautiful the sunlight was shining through the spring blossom this afternoon and cherished that moment for the best part of an hour. Then I went inside and ate some cheese. It was starting to get cold outside and one of my kids wanted a cup of milk.
If bestine were a thing in my part of the world it would have been easier to guess! So bestine is essentially pure heptane, right? It will have a cleaner pulling profile than naphtha.
Quote:Stay aware during extractions
^This is important enough to bear repeating. Some aspects of extraction have the potential to cause risk to life, limb and/or property. If you feel tired, secure whatever it is you're doing and take an appropriate amount of rest. Do not leave heated pans unattended. Do not perform extractions while intoxicated.
“There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."
