If we proceed with an A/B -> Manske we can see what falls out where. This in itself would prove which harmala alkaloids will fall out with a Manske.


If anyone has some extra THH laying around trying a Manske on it would certianly help to prove or disprove if a Manske will precipitate out THH.

hey ac.. I might give it a try with 100mg of my caapi xtract, redissolve in acidic water, manske it, filter, then basify and see if anything crashes out... though even if it crashes out, how can one be sure its THH? Im also thinking that its such a small quantity to play with that its gonna be hard not having it all lost to the filter.. But I can try.. might take a couple of weeks, though

So if SWIM did a Manske extaction on Caapi, they could run a Mass Spec on the results to determine purity & alkaloid makeup? This could be a way to determine the effectiveness of a Manske in regards to THH.

I only ask because a friend of SWIM is acquiring a $250,000 Mass Spec machine where she works and will be able to run stuff for SWIM.

The stipulation is that it has to be things that are legal. Harmala is legal!

Despite the fact the primary use of the machine will be to determine potency, organic purity, and various cannabinoid ratios within legal Medical Cannabis. Going to be paid to determine how much of CBD, CBN, THC and the other 5 or so cannabinoids are in each batch.
