That is not what the word 'literally' usually means:

EDIT: Okay I know what happened. I was reading this post earlier:

And for some reason I thought your reply was to that thread.

I did just mean that the subjective quality of the dream experience was very similar to that of DMT. Please excuse my excitement. I tend to use hyperboles when I am very excited. It was astonishing. I did wake up from it and DID actually see lucid visuals and I know I wasn't asleep at that point because I made sure of it. I saw paislies and fractals and a lot of sacred geometry that was very similar to my DMT experiences and other psychedelic experiences. I may not know exactly what caused the visuals, I like to say DMT, again I was excited and not thinking clearly when writing the initial post but 5-meo DMT or bufotenine could also be influences; however there still a lot of debate on that. Either way, my experience left me awestruck. It hasn't happened again since and that was the first time it happened to me. I do believe whatever chemicals were active in my brain at the time had those psychedelic affects. I don't know how else I was able to have those vivid visuals when I woke from the paralysis.

Also for the record... I am a "she" lol.
It all exists, because it does.

The nature of the universe is to build up aggregates of conscious matter. Esse est percipi, to be is to be perceived, without observers the universe is just formless vibrations of energy. The all seeing eye is a human symbol we use to represent the idea that the universe itself has a consciousness and intelligence...God if you will. I think DMT opens you up to the absolute reality of pure consciousness and your rational brain is trying to figure out what it's experiencing by throwing up these archetypes.

oldish thread BUT I experienced what I would classify as a DMT-dream experience the other night, conveniently within 3 days of smoalking DMT.

I dreamt of explaining a book I wrote to a good friend of mine, vividly in my room in my desk chair, and right as I reached a certain point in the explanation of this transcendental book, I was hit with an overwhelming wave of realization that had this undeniably powerful melting affect which was very comparable to a DMT flash. It was liken to a moment of 'condensation', where so many synchronicities are happening in the Eternal progression of Now which has taken control of linear time that it short circuits the brain and gives this full body feeling of what happens when one stands up way way way too fast and the world, if one neglects to put one's head down, over the course of 2 to 3 seconds, floods with vibrant colour and one feels this pulse, or pressure, coupled with that condensation/synchrotron shit it was extremely jostling and caused me to wake up with a start. I have these types of dreams sometimes where the dream becomes "realer than real" like DMT, but I don't always smoalk actual DMT in these dreams. I have done that, too, but not recently, and with widely varying effects. Some are authentic, some are lesser representations of the act vs the actual affects, and so on.

But these dreams are extremely odd, and I'd note a correlation between the dream realm and deemsters, however indirect.

And when I smoke DMT in my dreams it works...

And this is not recall of past experience or anything like that, it's an actual DMT experiance.

People who have not had this happen are going to give you a lot of stress for saying things like this...all I can say is I can't deny my first hand experiences...

Sleep paralysis ...!

It can be a blessing in disguise...

Many people fear this sleep condition ..but once you learn to recognise it for what it is.. it can be used as a bridge leading to an..[ out of body].. or a great .[WILD].. wake initiated lucid dream!Thumbs up

If you have SP often.. please tell me how i can cause SP at will when i want it...

Im not afraid of sleep paralysis..[when im lucky enough to experiance it] because i can often recognise whats going on arousing from sleep at 3 AM and see that ..[dark figure standing over my bed].. as an illusion....
or that ..[full sized tiger curled up in the corner of my room]... for what it really is!

I have responded by [ rolling out of my sleeping body].. onto a soft carpet in a dream house created by my mind.. ..i have a full dream body.. with all the furnishings ..[furnature] .. [tv playing on a nearby table];.[.pictures on the flesh colored walls] that i explore by touching my dream hands on...and a door will i open exposing a giant dream city that i slowly walk out into!
Experiancing these things in a super high quality dream state is nothing like what you experiance awake during the day...
Its like experiancing life as a child.. multiplyed by a thousand times!

If i knew how to induce SP.. i would do it twice a week trying to learn how to navagate it as an oreanaut!

For me it's pure terror, my mind is fully conscious, I can hear, and I can sometimes see, but I can't move, or breathe...

Sometimes my head will fall at a funny angle and will obstruct my breathing, and I won't be able to move...

I try to scream "HELP!" But no noise is generated...

Being paralyzed is scary as it is, but not being able to breathe while being paralyzed is a living nightmare...

It's not something I would think anybody would "want"

...when I go into a "natural DMT flash" from a paralysis experience I'm never able to tell if I actually died, or if I'm having a dream DMT state....

I get all that I can from these experiences, though I wish they would stop, I'm pretty sure I'm going to die of these things, not being able to move or breathe but knowing exactly what's going on has never been enjoyable for me...

I have had this same thing happen a lot. Same feelings. Hiowever if I am able to let go of my fear and just fall into it I have launched into some really crazy lucid dreams. Some aspects feel very much like DMT, the carrier wave etc... but the space is more "real" feeling except maybe I am flying or falling through solid floors etc...
