Lol i failed to look at it that way. I think i was stuck on my pov, being that i had not heard of the experiment so i had no bias that mold was expected to grow in the bad one.

Well that's ok, what you were saying actually sparked a new train of thought in my mind so I'm glad you said it. I'll get into it in a sec.

So then i guess a better experiment would be to have someone perform it without telling them what was expected to happen.

That would be interesting, and a solid contribution to the experimentation...I'd like to see results from that, but I lean towards assuming that - if this is an effective technique - the results would likely be the same because the definitions of 'good rice' and 'bad rice' are going to be the same across the board - regardless of the person and whether they were previously informed of the experiment's purpose. I think if they are shooting pos vibes at one and neg vibes at the other they'd naturally assume that changes of some sort are supposed to happen, or at least that the possibility of such changes happening is being tested, so that if the technique works, the person's definitions are going to become intertwined in the process no matter what and it would automatically go in the same direction as someone who knows all about it. But maybe not.

If that were the case, though, I think for it to go any differently it would have to be done by a being/force that had absolutely no preconceived notions of good or bad, relative to humans and anything else. And your pov is what made me start thinking about this - I think if the experiment was done by someone/something/some force that was void of beliefs, programming, preconceived notions of good/bad relative to anything, etc and had no sub/unconscious forces entering the playing field - that the jar having love/positivity beamed at it WOULD spring up life any and every kind of life possible. (in this case I'm assuming it'd be limited to the spores/bacteria that were present in the jar prior to sealing - unless you entertain the possibility of spontaneous generation, which I know not much about, but remembered reading something about it a long time ago and it just popped into my mind - I'd originally read about organisms appearing in hermetically sealed nuclear reactors, as this author mentions here in the first paragraph. I haven't read that book - just found it with a google search for 'organisms in hermetically sealed nuclear'; but that topic's a whole 'nother story)

The positivity would just be feeding life in general, unguided by a human's preprogrammed beliefs and definitions.

Interesting...
