Until I get my gvg I have been using a straight glass crack pipe. I got the technique down though. I only have vaped small amounts at a time so far. I use a very small flathead screw driver to scoop a dose out, which couldn't be more than 5 - 10mg. (I'm in the process of getting a mg scale for correct dosage). Last night I regret having a few beers in me because I put 2 scoops instead of my usual 1 and the beer made the experience too cloudy. I took 1 hit, nice and slow and close my eyes. I had my head tilted back and I had a ringing/buzz sound in my head. I could see a nice sharp yellow background of simple squares, no crazy geometry. These square blocks had a Egyptian feel to it with a repeating pattern and a little "drawing" or symbol of an eyeball in the middle of them. I didn't see an entity but I felt "her" speaking to me. She was reassuring me and telling me something helpful and important but the alcohol buzz made it hard to understand. What stuck with me was when she refered to ME, she didn't use my name but in its place was my own energy signature I leave or radiate throughout reality or life. It soon wore off and I just had some OEV. I now know to never go into the experience with alcohol in my system. I'm excited to go back and gain some more insight. thanks again for all the tips in this thread, my breakthrough report will be coming soon, I can feel it. Smile

I'm with the idea of infusing it onto herbs and put it in a joint with some MJ & tobacco

I use this tek

takes only a few minutes and you're good to go

for 1 joint, I'd use 40mg DMT onto 40mg Blue lotus

You can go down to 30 or up to 80 (I wouldn't smoke the 80 one by myself or not at once)

it's less effective than vaporized but still fairly effective if you want to test the waters. you can put it down or keep smoking for enhancing the effects.

What I was trying to say is, like thunder, DMT is to be respected, not to be afraid of. I know it can be really scary, and that it's a very powerful molecule. Even thunder makes a powerful sound, leave a lot of destruction behind and can potentially even kill people, there still is no reason to be afraid of it. And yes, it is totally okay to be afraid of thunder, afraid of dark, afraid of DMT and so on, but it usually only makes things worse. What is there to be gained from fear? I can be totally wrong here and I shouldn't have stated it in a way like it is a truth, as it's only my opinion.

i dont really think that the thunder analogy works, its just a noise, it cant really kill you and is over quickly. I work with a women who is scared of thunder, she hides under her desk when a storm hits but she is fine once it finishes. where as, not wanting to be to dramatic, i had a DMT experience that destroyed me, it completely removed my reality map and that was very, very difficult to deal with for months afterwards. This wasnt a scary experience, ive had plenty of them and i view those scary ones like a horror movie, there freaky but im not afraid of the scary experiences. I am scared of the experiences that go so far beyond fear that it makes fear seem like stroking a kitten.

I think that being dropped into an existential crises is something that is reasonable to be fearful of, and it is this that generates my pre-trip anxiety. I got through it OK, but i know i could have a worse experience in the future as the depths of the experience seem to be limitless.

have you had any horrific journeys? i have no idea of your usage, and im not trying to imply anything, but i have talked to people who have never had a bad DMT experience, they then go on to say that there is nothing to be scared of, well there isnt when its all rotating geometry, pretty colours and love filled entities of light.

i agree that unreasonable fear, like a fear of thunder, is pointless. but i think that being scared of things that can potentially send you a bit squiffy is reasonable.
INHALE, SURVIVE, ADAPT

it's all in your mind, but what's your mind???
