interesting Cool

so say 1g of powdered syrian rue (water extract) ... and then say 20 mg of enhanced leaf?
would that slow that whole thing down?

i wouldnt advise a gram of rue extract, thats alot, if you have have rue extracted harmalas id start with 200-250mg, drink or cap them then wait til you can feel them working and then start smoalking, yum yum.

Or, extract Harmalas from rue, dissolve them into IPA and infuse with the enhanced leaf. Let the IPA evaporate, Then you'll have changa. I may be wrong, but I don't think there is any rule about "when" the enhanced lead can be turned into changa. so, if you want to make changa... Do it! Smile

Plus, extracting Harmala is pretty fun. I love watching the Harmala HCl crystals grow. That's my favorite part
Sometimes it's good for a change. Other times it isn't.

As I understand it, harmalas have poor solubility in IPA. Correct me if I'm wrong!

β€œThere is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."

I said vodka, mainly cause it conatains ethanol and just a very few tasting agents, which would alter the taste of your product. The thing with vodka is, that your product will take longer time to dry, cause of high water content.

Naphta would work too, i guess. But personaly I woudn't want infuse my herbs with a petrolium destilate. Especially not, when I don't know if there are additives in it.

People also use acetone.

I most recently used acetone(after I had recommended IPA). I liked it better than IPA or ethanol.

I used a very small amount of acetone to dissolve 500mg of the molecule and about 400mg of FB harmala. Then I added ~700mg of dried, crushed tea leaves. I set the evap dish next to sunny window and waited for a few hours - checking and stirring periodically.

In your case, since you've already got the enhanced leaf, id just dissolve the harmalas in a minimal amount of acetone, and then add the leaf. Stir periodically, let dry, enjoy! I imagine that it goes with out saying, but be sure to let the acetone completely evaporate. There should be no residual smells of the solvent.
