OMG that is a herd of scary, hairy spiders eeeeeeeeeeek!
Cool
Perhaps I am asking the wrong questions but it doesn't interest me who you know or how you came to be here. I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me and not shrink back.

I have a smooth fox terrier puppy she is a complete lady with amazing scent tracking skills, she loves water and she is such a little helper. My cat is very often a tripping buddy of mine, he has so much character, big ears, incredibly loving and extremely vocal, he has quite an array of different meows... both of them are rescues. I also had two hamsters which just recently passed away, they were so precious they used to come to me when I would call them by name. I have such an affinity for looking after furry mammals. ♥

This is awesome, almost forgot about this thread and now i see it really took off! Cats still reign supreme on the nexus hehe.

Aegle, my cat also has many different meows. Many of them are when he is wanting attention. He definitely knows he is talking to me.

Thanks for all the posts!

2 cats, 2 dogs, a sand boa and an amazon parrot. All have quite the personality sometimes and crosses of cat/dog parrot/cat/dog ect. all in all a very well rounded family. lol. The parrot cleans between the toes of our male cat and the cat sometimes reaches in a paw and plays around with the bird.

The 2 cats for being adoptions are the best cats I have personally ever seen and wierd in the sense that they even let you pet/rub their bellies. Never seen a cat that would put up with that.

Toss some chickens and rabbits into the mix as well but they are less "pets" and more food animals. although they have very good lives and are treated as pets until that fatefull day...

I have two dogs. A Siberian husky named shadow and a half red nose pitbull half American staffordshire terrier named Watson. They're both a little crazy.

Watson is a big dog he weighs a little over 100 pounds and he loves people. He gets all excited and goes running up to them with a big goofy smile ready to meet a new person. Sometimes people seem just as excited to see him and start petting him and stuff. Other times people act terrified. You can tell it trips him out too he'll look back ar me all confused and stuff. Like what's wrong I just want to play. This has happened while walking him on a leash and when people have come into my house. He's jut a big goofy dog.

Lately I've also been thinking about getting a Bufo toad. I'll probably end up getting one pretty soon now that I found a vendor that has them in stock.

I have two cats right now. One inside, one outside.
A fluffy gray and white tiger stripe. Shes A rescue, best cat I've ever had, a love bug. She is also very vocal, she chirps like a bird and has all kinds of meows.

Pretty sure shes got me trained to understand her..Pleased
She's the inside cat.

The outside cat is a feral Siamese. Gorgeous, but skittish.
A rescue as well, she hated being inside and never warmed up to anyone. We really tried. She is happy outside and is well feed and has shelter.

Last year I put down my Pit bull, she was my boo. Had her for 14 years. Amazing dog.....Love

I def want to adopt another pit. But now is not the right time. Its a big commitment if you plan to give them a
"forever home". So many of them fill the shelters here, from people over breeding, and they have a bad rap so don't get adopted out as much.

Ive always been interested it birds and reptiles too, just never got around to getting any.

I love this thread. Smile

I have three cats which are my main source of entertainment. I was never a cat person, but my ex girlfriend loved them so everytime a stray kitten would come around we would obtain a new pet, much to my disaproval. Long story short, she took off and left the cats. It's not like i could give them away at that point, i had grown so attached to them, so now im stuck with em. they are pretty damn cute though, and two of them are big talkers as well, always responding to my "good mornings" and "hey beautifuls" (they are all females) Smile

Throughout my childhood and teen years my family always had Irish Wolfhounds. They're amazingly compassionate, gentle, and gigantic dogs. Unfortunately my family is plagued with bad luck and we've been through 4 of them in a ten year span. Loved those dogs.

Now however, I am the owner of a 5 foot long Australian Jungle Carpet Python. Not the most cuddly pet, but he's been with me for 8 years now and is a pretty cool critter to have around.

I've had cats and dogs most of my life. My last dog, a half-retarded (literally) lab/border collie mix died of aggressive stomach cancer last year. I miss him,he was my smoking buddy. I always had to hide my bud from him, cause otherwise he'd try to steal it.

Now I live in an apartment and have two female cats. One is a young, hyperactive, and extremely vocal ebony/silver Ocicat. The other is a slightly older, fat calico with ice-blue eyes, who spends most of her time trying to get into my lap.

I'm surprised to only have seen one other parrot on the thread. My family as a Meyer's Parrot we got as a baby.

He can't talk, but my mother is a violinist and he'll sing along with her when she's playing stuff he knows, like Beethoven's 9th.

Blessings

Speaking of pets... I had a sub-breakthrough trip last night and I swear to god, my Ocicat poked her head into hyperspace to watch me. She's the strangest cat. I've had her for a few weeks and she's been following me around everywhere since the day we brought her home, while only paying any attention to my mom when I'm not around or not awake. I've had strong connections to most animals I've had/spent any time around, but never like this. It kinda freaks me out.

Pythons are arguably the MOST cuddly pet you could have! Tis what they do best, you just don't want to be the subject of that cuddle! Laughing That said, I have huge admiration and respect for our scaley friends Love
