2. The big bare spot is there because SWIM had already started harvesting before he remembered to take a picture.
3. In your comparison, you counted multiple flushes in your example to only the ONE flush of mine. When All flushes come in on this is when we should do the math.
4. A properly done monotub is almost set and forget, providing it's own humidity. A smaller casing would need a separate fruiting chamber/martha setup. Unless it is just a smaller monotub?
5. Pin set is not a determining factor in total weight. SWIM has had a tub that was pretty much ONLY side pins produce 11 oz or so. You just end up with fewer/larger fruit. The mycelium move the nutrients to the fruit wherever the fruit may be.
6. SWIM likes not having to do a casing layer. Makes it easier to dunk and get back into fruiting.
Interesting take on it though. Thanks for the analysis. I will post pics tomorrow of SWIM's second flush in progress.
Hey,
Glad to have your input on this.
1. What do you mean by 'bio-efficient'? If you mean that the material input and the yield output has a better ratio for the smaller yields then SWIM would of course agree, since that is SWIM's point of course. Again, SWIM does see how CCVG is a good way to go (possibly more potent?), SWIM simply prefer's using more small casing's since that is more efficient. SWIM may end up trying the CCVG tek in a smaller form. Thanks for the idea.
2. SWIM did not realize you had already pulled from that spot, so that makes a lot more sense considering that picture did not look like 119 grams dry.
3. For your number 3 response, it is important to realize that SWIM only compared our first flushes together (18 for SWIM and 119 for you), not all of SWIM's [which would be about 30 grams] to one of yours. But SWIM would of course have to agree, it would be best to compare all the flushes of SWIM's with all your flushes. We can compare that when it is done.
4. The way SWIM does his smaller casing's isn't set and forget as far as SWIM knows, though it could be because it has an air exchange filter and all. SWIM will have to try with one of his and find out

. Thank you for that idea. You should check out SWIM's tek when it is complete for further understanding.
Damiana's Tek5. Not exactly sure what your mean by 'side pins' but SWIM likes to use a casing layer to make sure of the even pin set. Just how SWIM likes to work is all. SWIM has never tried without it so SWIM will have to experiment with it. Thanks for the idea, again.

.
6. SWIM doesn't dunk anymore, just afraid of breaking the casing again

.
Again, thanks for your input. Hopefully we can collaborate on a perfect tek.
Regards,
Damiana
