Suggest - Native american shaman music - like "Sacred Spirit"

Try also - "Hemisync" various CD's with binaural beats to syncronise your brain

Try also - youtube - soffregio frequencies - whole series of powerful trance music videos
(but not the "doof doof" type of trance music)

Personally, SWIM likes soul music, lots of drums with a complex rythm over a basic framework.

and if you want something rather special

Try "White noise" - ie broad spectrum audio static but really loud

Hi all.
I enjoyed reading this topic and must say that i have added lots of very nice music to my ....playlist Smile

I'd just like to share one guy who i think produces very soothing, relaxing, and possibly capable of relieving the soul type of music ..if that makes any sense. I must say that i have not heard any of his stuff while on mescaline, mushroom, lsd or aya. but i plan to sometime when chance meets opportunity in a control environment [ my room ] where the lights will be dimmed, the walls are a sky blue, and in the comfort of my bed...
anyway...check out he is Liquid Mind
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4Lfvmet4H4

also, i just heard of this band called Yube Mistu
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-RvMjIzxRDc

thanks to you all!

Hey there, there is a thread "DMT music ?" in this subforum, check it out, I think you will find what you are looking for there.

You should blastoff with silence for the first time. Music can alter the experience considerably IMO.

Welcome to the forum BTW.

Depends what you like. I tried checking out the DMT Music thread, but there's SO much variety, most of which I definitely wouldn't want to listen to: heavy metal? oldies? rock? Not really my type of spice music. I'm more into the chillout/atmospheric/psybient type music. Everytime I introduce people to spice I have really atmospheric, relaxing music playing. Something that's not too overpowering, but a great "background" track to the trip.
Some songs I would recommend (for my personal tastes)
7and5 - Forward and Back
William Orbit - Optical Illusions
Ott - The Queen of all Everything
Shulman - A Magnificent Void (little bit of a "darker" track, but it syncronizes with my trip the most)
UOK - Free World

If you do a google search for "Firmanent - Above The Clouds" you'll get a list of 15 mixes. Most are 1 hour long, others go up to 3 hours long. I find these are the best to put on. He's a russian dj specializing in chillout, and I've found many gems in those mixes. Recent psilocybin trip I put one of his 3 hour long mixes on, and just sat there the whole time in awe of the music and the experience.
That's my suggestion if your tastes are somewhat similar to mine, but I find so many people are varied that you have to sift through a lot in the DMT music thread.

Some good synthesizer music that I find changa compatible.

Tonto's Expanding Head Band - Riversong
T.O.N.T.O. is a huge modular synthesizer built in the 70's and used on some popular albums, including a bunch of Stevie Wonder records. Here's a picture of the synth for any of you synth geeks:

Tomita - Arabesque No. 1
Cheesy, but great moog interpretations of Claude Debussy music. Sonically rich and great for tripping.

Popol Vuh : Ich Mache Einen Spiegel
Very different from their later work, but still wonderful.

SWIM's on a non-breakthrough dose now, and is seriously loving

DMT music works at low, low dose levels. Kind of borderline-visuals level.

Shocked That's a big synthesizer! I use a software modulation synthesizer, so I guess it's the size of my PC...

My favorite thing to listen to is the sounds of the breeze outside, and the sounds of waves from the lake nearby. and some birds occasionally

Gotta recommend SAKURA, the album bu Susumu Yokota.

its amazing for tripping.

Deep, multi-layered, syrupy psychedelic soup.

Enjoy

Any of his stuff, really...not "psychedelic", but extremely soothing.

Haven't gone on a DMT journey yet, however when meditating I've had good experiences and OBE's whilst listening to crystal and Tibetan bowl pieces. The Cinematic Orchestra and post rock such as If These Trees Could Talk, God Is An Astronaut, Explosions In The Sky etc also make for good experiences, may also be good for DMT?
A lot of great music mentioned!

Ha! I just saw that. I missed that dangerous little post!

Okay, the question is, which Residents album. I can see The Commercial Album or maybe even Duck Stab/Buster Glenn... but Vileness Fats or The Mole Show.. well, maybe Intermission would be okay.

Wow! You are a daredevil.
