green buddha j hook you will want the 14mm $15.99

http://www.greenbuddhash...L-SCREEN-K-CLIP-CA11.htm you want the 14mm to 18mm adapter $14.99

http://www.vaporgenie.co...p-no-filter#.U4poI1hdXqU for this ceramic holder, you might be able to find one at your local headshop as I did for half the price, apparently you pay another $11 for the vapor genie sticker Confused . But, I am not certain that the diameter of the opening will fit the ceramic disc below. $23

http://www.greenbuddhash...PTER-DECREASER-2818A.htm -- i didn't buy this one but looks like it would work as the top piece to insert the ceramic.

Also if you are like me the gvg filter from my broken gvg(s) fits in there perfectly.

http://lifesabervaporize...ceramic-flavor-disc.html you are going to want the large ceramic flavor disk $5 to fit into the ceramic top piece. For the inside of piece I put some copper choreboy around a small ceramic disk.

http://www.vaporgenie.co...mouthpieces#.U4ppAVhdXqU mouthpieces $.50

So ~$60 if you order everything online

If you have good headshops around you they will have these pieces for cheaper, notice the more you buy the cheaper it becomes.

Looks very nice - how does it work/compare to the GVG?

It works pretty much exactly like the GVG. I can take larger tokes on this thing, there is less resistance when inhaling.

Nice looking alternative to GVG. Great post Adam i will definitely look at this for my alternative option to my homemade vaporizer. That is much more friendly price also. For that amount i could buy two sets and have one as a backup if i break one.

I remember seeing one of these bottom pieces for sale online a while back, and I was planning on assembling pretty much this exact vaporizer then sharing my results with the Nexus... Then I lost motivation and the idea floated away from me in the wind. I'm glad it ended up landing on someone else. Smile

Thanks for sharing, adam!

Haha Entheogenerator. I wouldn't have even done this if i hadn't broken my third, yes third GVG, started getting ridiculous. So I needed an alternative that doesn't break the bank. Laughing

Good find. I went ahead and added this to my vaping guide as I think this is a great alternative. Although I will be sticking with my gvg cause I likes it so much!

Geez, that certainly would get expensive pretty quick. I might still assemble one of these and try to figure out a way to eliminate the need for the metal scrubber pad. As far as I can tell, that is the only advantage that the GVG still has over this "GVG analogue". Thumbs up

Entheogenerator you don't need the copper, you can use the ceramic disks in the link above as a repository on which to lay your spice, in fact it works very well and others recommend using it in the GVG even. I have both the copper and a ceramic disk in their. Smile

Yes, I use ceramic discs in my GVG. But I thought you were using copper to fill in the gaps around the disc? Does it fit in there snugly enough to use only the ceramic disc without allowing air to flow around it?

That blue plastic doesn't melt?

JBArk is a Mandelthought; a non-fiction character in a drama of his own design he calls "LIFE" who partakes in consciousness expanding activities and substances; he should in no way be confused with SWIM, who is an eminently data-mineable and prolific character who has somehow convinced himself the target he wears on his forehead is actually a shield.

I would imagine that Keck clips can handle the amount of heat being generated to vaporize DMT just fine.

Good thing the plastic is on the outside anyways.

Thanks a lot adam for sharing, this looks great and if I didn´t have a GVG or mine broke I´d definitely assemble one of these!

Will be linking others here Smile

Feel free to add to the wiki.

Mine came in however I messed up and got the wrong adapter set. They are currently sold out of the 14/18 and don't have that mentioned on their site. So If you're assembling this set wait til next week before ordering. Otherwise your only options are a 14/14 adapter or a 18/18 adapter both of which are incompatible.

You can't exchange or return so make sure you get the right stuff!!

Is it a comfortable hold when vaporizing the spice? It looks rather long and awkward to hold from the pictures

Its comfort level never crossed my mind until you mentioned. In my opinion its comfortable, although I am not sure how to really qualify that.
