So sad...it pains me that isolated cases like this one get blown out of proportions by mainstream media only to stigmatize psychedelics more and more.

It's also yet another reminder that in order to get the benefits of working with psychedelics, a lot of work on the inner self has to be done prior. You can't expect a mentally and emotionally unstable person to handle well such a tremendous ride into the depths of their own consciousness... Neutral

He didn't hurt the guy.
But I've seen a decent amount of psychedelic related violence.

It's in the literature for traditional use too. Ayahuasca and violence are very old bedfellows.
