I was just wondering if instead of the methyl alcohol i could use a different solvent... i have acetone and naptha already and was wondering if i could get away with not buying any more chemicals for the time being...
No drug, not even alcohol, causes the fundamental ills of society. If we're looking for the source of our troubles, we shouldn't test people for drugs, we should test them for stupidity, ignorance, greed and love of power. ~P.J. O'Rourke

All you need to get harmaloids out of syrian rue is NaCl (table salt) and acetic acid (white vinegar).

But depends what are you trying to accomplish?

โ€œI have realized that the past and future are real illusions, that they exist in the present, which is what there is and all there is.โ€
-Watts-

"We live together, we act on, and react to, one another; but always and in all circumstances we are by ourselves. The martyrs go hand in hand into the arena; they are crucified alone. Embraced, the lovers desperately try to fuse their insulated ecstasies into a single self-transcendence; in vain. By its very nature every embodied spirit is doomed to suffer and enjoy in solitude. Sensations, feelings, insights, fancies โ€” all these are private and, except through symbols and at second hand, incommunicable. We can pool information about experiences, but never the experiences themselves. From family to nation, every human group is a society of island universes."
-Huxley-
