Hi Antrocles, Well man I've heard good stuff in many circles regarding the white vine from Maya. I'm friends with Maurice who runs Maya, and his personal preference is for the white vine over all of them. Can't really add much of own experience to these observations, but hope to do so in the near future

Cielo, yellow, white, sky, heaven, etc. Caapi contains more THH while the "black" and "red" caapis contain more harmine and harmaline. ALWAYS go with Cielo, yellow or white. Whole botanicals are ALWAYS best. ALWAYS! Quote:the consensus is that maya has the best aya. Icaros is better if you ask me. Think about it.... the Caapi grows in South America... Maya is in Europe, so the Caapi is shipped to Europe from South America and then shipped to you. With Icaros it comes directly from South America straight to you. The best Caapi is caapi you grow yourself! WARNING: DO NOT INGEST ANY BOTANICAL WHICH YOU HAVE NOT FULLY RESEARCHED AND CORRECTLY IDENTIFIED!!!I am Teotzlcoatl, older cousin of Quetzalcoatl. SWIM is yet to experience a substantial psychedelic experience from Caapi He bought his aya vine from deva and pulverised, boiled for 12 hours, usual kind of recipie. however, every full moon he thinks of that healing brew which he consumed and the many lengths he went to fully ritualise it: incense, chanting, fanning the brew with tobacco smoke, a full week's dieta, (only lentils and beans: it makes your poo smell nice I can tell you) etc etc Ever since then he's been feeling better and better, curiously. Maybe it was the brew, maybe it was SWIS inner decision to take care of himself! Who knows! but i won't forget it. SWIS is going to order some Caapi Copy soon. He couldn't find the THH 200x (and its never in stock.) shoe

...and GRATITUDE!! Thier strongest has always been their WHITE Caapi (4) whole or shredded, doesn't make a difference. Also their price on yellow Caapi leaves is pretty good, better than many US vendors. I would pick up some of the yellow leaves if you haven't already ordered. Their Chaliponga (4) is almost on par with decent mimosa. 8grams is a low dose, 14 is moderate and 20g is a jounrey unless you are a real hard head, in which case you may want to take abit more. Hope this helps. Whole white vine has been my favorite for a long time running. Other colors are great. Yellow brought moderate purging and black seemed to work entirely on the body. Whenever you can find WHOLE CIELO--watch out! It is the most bitter, powerful, and strongest vine I have ever encountered. <30g--of this vine ALONE--brought hours of full-blown OEVs, projectile purging, and spirits telling me to purify myself because I was unworthy to see the secrets they were protecting. They haven't carried it for a while, but the last batch was apparently *very fresh.* I definitely second Maya for the vine. I used to not order vine from them because it was a little more expensive, but in the end, it is worth it. The vine is always consistently amazing. =) Some things will come easy, some will be a test

8 grams of chali is a low dose I never tried maya's chaliponga but 5 grams of the stuff I have can be very mentally challenging..maybe the 5meo content differs between batches. Long live the unwoke.

Is this chali without an additional MAOI? SWIM recently came across some shredded vine and giant chali leaves, but is having a hard time finding a good recipe with directions on how to properly brew. If anyone can help out with a link or advise it would be appreciated!

Okay... Here's the tried-and-tested recipe for success! Acidify distilled or RO water with 1 tbsp vinegar per 1 liter of water (or try to get pH 3). Never use lemon. Never use anything other than white distilled vinegar, or you will pay for it with your tongue. Caapi and Chali can be cooked together, but for sake of limited materials and efficiency, I like to cook them separately, and drink the admixture 15-20 minutes after the vine. Smudge the kitchen. Submerge your materials in water, in stainless steel spaghetti pots, and bring to a boil. Keep the heat at a setting where it just begins to boil. Add more water to keep the materials covered as it starts to cook off. All the while, please immerse yourself fully in the cooking, state intentions, ask her questions, get a dialogue going. Caapi can get angry if you turn your back on her (especially in the reductions phase, yikes!!). After 3 hours, have spare spaghetti pots available. Cover one with a cotton t-shirt, and pour the liquid off your brew into the second pot. This will be saved for reductions. Cover your materials with water again, and cook for another 3 hours, finishing with a filter. Repeat this process one more time, for a total of 3x3 washes. I have found no noticable increase in potency for cooking longer than 9 hours. I HAVE found decreases in potency when cooking for shorter periods of time or using less vinegar. Combine all the filtered brew, and cook down to desired consistency (more pots with big circumferences mean faster reduction time). If I cook 1 kilo of vine, I would reduce to ~10oz of brew. The thicker it is, the better and longer it stores. Also, take care to find the smallest/most fitting jar, and sterilize it before adding the vine. I like to let it decant for 24 hours before drinking. Just for the sake of information, this recipe works great with Mimosa, as well. BUT, Mimosa HAS to be cooked seperately, and it MUST decant for at least 1 day and then get filtered through cheesecloth/pantyhose, because a black oily sludge will fall to the bottom that you do NOT want to drink!! (It just makes you ill. ) Also, for the 3x3 cook, you can take a break between washes, if life gets too demanding (e.g., can't stay up all night cooking for ~12 hours, after work, if you have to work again in the morning). There is no harm in letting your materials soak in acidified water a bit before cooking. Happy brewing!! Some things will come easy, some will be a test

Nice thanks, swim appreciates all that info! But how much caapi and chali does he add to the liter of water if it is only for 1 person? and what kind of experience would one expect from said dose? Are their more alkaloids in the vine other than just harmine, harmaline, thh? Does anyone know on average the percentage of alkaloids per gram of vine? Thanks

This recipe works for any amount of materials, because you just cover whatever amount you choose to work with in water, and add more water as necessary (as acidified in recipe). 300g or 500g can go in the same pot, it makes no difference. I like to make enough for several journeys at once, because of the cook times involved. My only advice is to make sure you have enough burners on the stove and pots on hand. Ultimately, you will have to just experiment with materials. Everybody's tolerance (and MAO profile, apparently) is different. In the beginning, I worked with a vine where 50g would knock my socks off, it tasted horrendous, and made me very ill. Later on, I moved onto another supplier, where 120g seems to be the perfect amount, but the taste is light, sweet, and produces no nausea. I have never gone beyond 140g, but I am a lightweight (there are people who have drank 200+g, but that could potentially be very insane). I've broken through for hours on as little as 20g. Some other people, at 150g, seem to have a 50/50 shot at breaking through. Some people need a *LOT.* I seem to need comparatively little. Food in the stomach is another factor. I find 4 hours of fasting, with a little fruit beforehand, puts my body in the perfect condition. A full stomach is a recipe for disaster. If there is a bit of food in the stomach, the medicine seems to take longer to absorb. Someone else I know does best with strict water fasting. Many other need a bite of something, sweet or fatty, to get into the journey better (sometimes DMT gets trapped in the gall bladder and needs food to release it). My best advice would be... to order some vine from a reputable supplier (like Maya). If you are really seeking to build a relationship with Aya, start low. Have a few sessions, work your way up in increments, and really feel out how the medicine works for you at different levels. Low-dose and high-dose Caapi are COMPLETELY different. Abstain from eating for about 4 hours before. One time, I had a cup of tea poured on the table, with intentions to go into ceremony. The house was smudged, everything was set up for ceremony. As I approached the table, suddenly my stomach twisted and I had to run to the washroom and purge. I came out... went to the table again... but couldn't make it, because I had to run and purge. This happened a third time. When you build a relationship with the medicine, there are times when completely spiritual things with no physical explanation take place, so measurements and numbers are really just a guide. Useful tools in the beginning, but once you have a rhythm, it becomes more intuitive. Sometimes, the plants will also just *tell* you, when you've had too little, when you've had too much. This is why it's good to cook enough for several assumed "batches," you can go with it as it happens. When drinking, trust your instincts. ...all of this comes from my humble experience and interpretations of such. Some things will come easy, some will be a test

I had my first experience with just caapi the other day. I took 2 grams of the CS 20X extract and it was just like a trip without the trip. I was still talkative and sharp thinking, but without any pretty colors and soul twisting ordeals. Sure it felt like something was missing (the wacky magic) but it was still a worthwhile day where I was firmly grounded.
