yeah. I started having issues after I did annual maintenance, broke the quartz spacer rings.
then I had problems getting adequate vacuum to turn on the ion optics, so I swapped out the helium line, because the brass connector was galled. I fixed the vac leak yesterday, then re-inspected the PS, that’s when I noticed the connector issue.
once I get comm initialized (hopefully this evening), I’ll calibrate. I gotta run a certain melatonin [fungal] product this week, hopefully I’ll have results by NYD.
The multipole offset voltages passed tests, something that’s never happened since I bought the instrument.
