Hey guys,
I try since quite along time to register at the Corroboree forum. The process of registering runs well, but I never get activated by any admin.
Does someone of you successfully registered at this site?

Hey man. I registered at this forum some time ago to contact a local for some live plants exchange. The profile activation took a long time for me as well - 3 weeks if I remember correctly. Be patient, and once that runs out - contact them asking them what's going on. No idea why their system is so slow, I doubt they are overwhelmed with new members daily requiring activation. Be well.

Hey Nydex, I waited far longer than that and also wrote them. But got no response.
For me it seems I am not matching their desired user features or there is simply no one making the job atm.

I'd put my money on the second. I don't think they screen their incoming registrations and filter the ones they deem "unworthy" or "unfitting". I haven't browsed that forum much, but last time I did it gave me the feeling of a dying forum. Maybe send them a mail again?

I dont know if its still the case, but I know in years past they were quite a target for spam bots. These are automated computer programs that use false information to register new accounts by the hundreds to spam forums with ads and google exploits. Thats why the registrations have to be filtered by hand, and when under attack its a big job. I've done it. When going through the days list of 600 registrations the mod only has a second to judge each 'person' so try to use a real person sounding name, not broken up strangely with periods or with numbers on the end, and use a real person sounding email address not from russia, ukraine, or romania.
