They got quite some roots to them. Good thing i repotted them. They were all tangled already in the small tub. Half a month more and you would have all routbound. First is glutinosa and then a looooong recognita root Ulim attached the following image(s): eRkPGi3.jpg (96kb) downloaded 285 time(s). RIObQ1e.jpg (89kb) downloaded 283 time(s).

Compared they really differ. Glutinosa is rather dense and has big leaves while recognita is straight and has smaller leaves Ulim attached the following image(s): 1yoX8W2.jpg (170kb) downloaded 279 time(s). W9GL2lS.jpg (387kb) downloaded 278 time(s).

Bonus acacia acuminata which germinated (reused the tub had acuminatas in before) The soil is a cactus mix (30% organic) premixed with sand small stones and clay. I added lots of those hydroculture clay shards to change the way the soil holds water. I want it not to waterlog while locking in some moisture in the shards. From what i read both strains (they are out of turkey) dont like being wet like salvia divinorum. If you plant them outside you might want to plant them in a heighened spot so water can runoff. All done! I will move one of the glutinosa plants to the window to test how well they keep up to light cold (10-15c). I dont want to do that with recognita due to the seeds being more expensive. And i got tons of glutinosa. Also glutinosa seems to be the faster grower of them. The bottom image shows my little greenhouse. Its actually for hydroculture but i just placed the pots on top. Im using some random chinese led strips (2 of them) spanned over the top. They seem to be enough due to the fact that there is no etiolation on them. The other plants are some loph seedlings and a little starfruit forest. Ulim attached the following image(s): c1ewHXl.jpg (49kb) downloaded 273 time(s). ETOMuz7.jpg (118kb) downloaded 273 time(s).

Great job so far, I'll be following this closely! I didn't feel like my work with salvinorin had even begun before it was over. Wasn't such a green thumb back then... Art Van D'lay wrote:Smoalk. It. And. See.

looking great maybe when they got taller, you could guide the vines (with strings) so they would grow around walls/ceilings would help with moar leaf (also, if it needs moar root, maybe attach a pot on the wall and put a twig in there, so it roots in multiple places)

It is exciting that it will be possible find out what the basic attributes of the leaves are!
When anyones' plants are large enough, or if they drop leaves naturally, and you feel welcomed to do so, try to place a small piece of either fresh or dried leaf under your tongue as you lay down for a nap or before your main sleeping time! Before full length sleep may also allow a simple and meaningful personal experience of whether dreams are changed.
Many sages bring subtle effects from oral/sublingual administration that might not be as interesting to explorers who have yet learned from sages previously about just how meaningful these subtle changes can be! I feel that there will be some wonderful attributes found from both of these plants that will perhaps be due to the specific combinations of unique parts that are contained within!!
