Anyone else here a fan of black mirror on Netflix? Love the series and think its the best series to come out in years...seen about 1/2 of all the episodes so far...just watched the brand new uss callister episode last night and it blew our minds, what a crazy good episode. It's like twilight zone to the nth power, the writers are genius, cast is the best too, acting is super....and all the episodes are 4k too, which is a bonus. The episode San Junipero is excellent as well, won many awards for best TV. Fifteen milliion merits also excelled, just like the rest of the episodes I have seen so far: crazy good...the series explores our relationship with ourselves & technology gone astray and beyond, psychological thrillers. Neflix paid over 40 million to gain the rights to the series from Channel 4, yes, that's right--40 million. More on IMDB to see it's very high rating of 8.9 and reviews: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2085059/You may remember me as 69Ron. I try to sneak back from time to time under different names, but unfortunately, the moderators of the DMT-Nexus are infinitely smarter than I am.

Charlie Brooker is such a genius! Just finished watching the 4th episode of the new series and want to watch more, but kind of want to save the last 2 for another day.
Not surprised San Junipero won 2 Emmys. Really cool concept.

Oh yeah, have seen some of the earlier episodes. Loved white bear, the entire history of you, be right back, there's a few others; but there's some episodes I haven't seen. Gotta catch up

Charlie Brooker is a very astute observer of the human condition and most things that he has been involved are worth a look . The episode with the prime minister and the pig was very good and somewhat poignant in how it illustrated how we relate to politicians. Not to mention the David Cameron/pig scandal coming out a few years after. The guy has got his finger so on the pulse that he is almost psychic.

Are you talking about the American version or the UK version? I've seen a couple episodes of the American, and they freaked me right out the first episode especially, with the phone app that lets you rate other users. That scared the socially anxious piss right out of me

Yes, I like Black Mirror. One of the better series produced in recent years. Also a serie that gets better season after season. That's something you don't see often. Did you already see the episode Metalhead in the 4th season ? By far the best. The black and white pictures give it this extra dimension that makes it so powerful. Quiet the mind and the soul will speak

Black Mirror, is without a doubt, the most important TV show of this century. If I had to sum it up, would say it portrays technology's less savoury effect on human behavior....it's mainly about us and our human nature, and how science, reality tv, social media effects human beings.
