A friend of Swim's is in the process of ordering 1 kilo of MHRB from US to Australia.(for making purple dye Wink ) After extensive research he has found that this is not illegal to bring into Aust, but because of the Customs at Australia border Swim's friend is having doubts as to whether to go through with this. He has heard stories of extremely high heat treatment to all foreign plant matter before it leaves customs, thus could cause a prob to the bark by destroying all the goodness it?. Has anyone anymore information regarding MHRB in aust, and could possibly shed some more light before a costly mistake is made? Also Swim's friend is aware of Acacia strains but after many trials and error has decided to source Mimosa.

Where abouts in Aus are you? It could possibly be much safer to source a local Acacia.

Swims friend tried acacia many times unsuccessfully only Acacia Maidenii grows in her area (Melbourne) and has very low DMT content and is very strenuous to extract , many defats etc For reference Swim's friend has been advised from a helpful sourceWink that her bark even through heat treatment will not be affected as it is in salt form and heat stable. So she has decided to go ahead with ordering and has advised she will post results. Wish Swim's friend luck!

Obtusifolia is available in Victoria in the wild in certain areas (far east). If that's too far for you then your kinda stuck. Do not import MHRB! It is a preparation containing DMT and is definately illegal in australia. ...this advice was for your friend, obviously.
Please take no offense to anything I just said.

yep yep obtusifolia in Vic don't even think about those Orbost or Richmond Maideniis Shano Razz Maidenii is protected in vic so you wouldn't want to mess with them anyway. Plus results are highly variable. If you or anyone actually want some fresh maidenii seeds shoot me a PM regarding MHRB, you can get it if you can get a license to import it. I'm not sure what type of license you'd need exactly but the TGA can answer that (apparently this is actually a doable approach)

You would need a permit, SWIM is going through the process now (finally). It is long and strenuous, and anyone trying it better have their story straight first, and know the aqis website off by heart. Also have a solid legit reason for importing.
