I have experimented with small doses of LSD; I are 1/4 of a blotter my last time. While the peak was still pretty trippy and a bit uncomfortable, as usual for me, I had a very creative and productive mania on the comedown. I am very interested in leadership and management philosophies, and I was able to come with up with unique and useful frameworks on what leadership is and how it has worked for me historically.
With smaller doses, there is a ton of potential for creative and useful thinking. However, this is a slippery slope for some psychedelics. I would never use DMT in this way, as while I can get similar creative bursts from it, I view it as much more sacred and intense than LSD. I view LSD almost as a pharmaceutical tool, particularly if I think about how it was originally used by psychiatrists to treat patients.
Microdosing could be very useful for those in younger, fast-paced, world-changing companies that thrive on creative thinking and open-mindedness (or any other position that requires these attributes).
