PRE-CONDITIONS
(mind)Set: Uncertain at first. Caapi then gives confidence and courage.
(physical condition) Set: Some light yoga, followed by meditation.
Setting (location): Comfortable, quiet bedroom.
time of day: Late morning, bright ambient sunlight fills my room.
recent drug use: Cannabis the night before, caapi just before.
last meal: Night before

PARTICIPANT
Gender: male
body weight: 63 kgs
known sensitivities: generally sensitive to psychedelics
history of use: moderate

BIOASSAY

Substance(s): Enhanced Caapi leaf. DMT infused passion flower blend. Extra pinch of DMT freebase. Weed.
Dose(s): Estimated half a gram of enhanced caapi, 120 mg changa (~30mg DMT), .1g weed, and an eyeballed extra bit of crystal freebase, maybe 10-15mg?
Method of administration: Smoked caapi, vaporized changa DMT.

EFFECTS

Administration time: Smoked caapi and did yoga for maybe 10 minutes before I started the vape in meditation.
Duration: Maybe 5 or 6 minutes of initial breakthrough, followed by 20 minutes or so of superconductivity, followed by an hour or so of blissful afterglow.
First effects: Opening, unfolding. Ascent, overwhelming.
Peak: From maybe minute 2 to minute 6
Baseline: 30 minutes to an hour after administration.

Intensity (overall): It was the definition of intense just before breakthrough. After breakthrough, the intensity was present, but it described the astonishment of what I was seeing, and not the overwhelming nature of the thing itself.

OPTIONAL
Pleasantness: 4, after breakthrough
Unplesantness: 2, only at first.
Visual Intensity: 4

AFTER-EFFECTS

Afterglow: I felt as though I had been shared a realm of information few humans have ever known. I was ecstatic, and greatly appreciative.

REPORT

It is described in many forms - gates, vortex, membrane, mandala, but there is without doubt a threshold that you will encounter, and must push through. I have had very deep immersive DMT trips that I would later contemplate if it was breakthrough or not. If you have to wonder, you did not breakthrough. I know that now. The way I experienced the breakthrough is best described as a kind of atmospheric ascent.

I loaded my pipe with the usual changa blend, but remembering a confusing, sub breakthrough trip the other day, I decided to make this one count, and I eyeballed an extra clump of crystal into the pipe. I like to cap mine off with a pinch of cannabis for good flavor and a comforting sense of familiarity. I smoke a large bowl of enhanced caapi before I vaporize the infused herb. I have never smoked enough caapi to feel its effects alone, well I felt it this time. The best way I can describe the caapi effect is like an opening up - all my senses begin scanning reality as if I am searching for nothing in particular. I usually wear headphones in my trips, because I'd rather not hear the neighbors dog, the traffic, and such. This time I only had quiet music playing on a stereo. I feel the need now to listen to everything, without isolating myself from it. Everything is imbued with significance, even the barking dog, and neighborhood dump truck.

After a few meditative minutes, I take the first big toke. The changa makes the DMT taste wonderful, but with the added pinch of freebase, I can taste the DMT, and I know this is about to be strong. The first toke is slow to come on, but as soon as I can feel it working, "there you are". It starts in my chest and swims through my body.
The second toke launches me into the atmosphere. As I ascend higher and higher, the air gets thinner, the lights get brighter, the information moves faster. I am overwhelmed by the onset of this thing. I already can't believe what I'm seeing, and I can hardly bare it. My impulse is to put the vape down at this point. I can't imagine getting any more loaded that this. After a few seconds of enduring this wild explosion of energy and information, I realized that would not go any further. I knew that this was the very edge of breakthrough, and I was stuck inside of it. A green and blue form reached right into my reality, and pulled itself into my face. "You didn't go this far to be stuck here did you?" It spoke to me. "Take another hit".
When your mundane reality is charged to some excruciating intensity, it's very difficult to convince yourself that you need to do more. But I'm so glad I did.

The third toke pushed me right up through the outermost atmosphere of mind, and into another dimension. This was not so chaotic and absurd as the vision I was having. I was in a new place entirely. This dimension was highly ordered and stable. I could observe specific processes that were unfolding. The process that immediately took my attention was the giant. A giant man was sitting in lotus, towering over this realm, and allocating it's energy. There were many giants doing this, but this one sat just in front of me. He would move energy from one point, and plant it in another. I don't know why, but I got the sense that this was some kind of farm? Or a garden? Once I came in, he began planting this energy into me. Moving light from this plant, and into my body. The feeling was like christmas morning. I was being given this stuff just for… successfully breaking through I suppose. I don't know how long this went on, but I remember walking out of it, backwards. As I leaned back I am here in my bedroom. Lean forward and I am in the realm of the giants. I turn sideways, and look down my arm and see that I am sitting parallel between these dimensions. They appear as layers of a composite. I stand up to walk across my room.

This is the most significant experience of my psychedelic journey and possibly my entire life. As I move, I notice that everything in the room is gravitating towards me, like a magnet. I approach the dresser and my charging phone lights up to indicate it has just reached full charge. I look at my computer and it wakes up from sleep mode. I look outside through my open blinds, and 2 squirrels are standing up starring right at me. The bird on the fence is too. I am not just witnessing these synchronistic waves of compression, I am causing them. The smoke from my incense follows me. The very light coming from my lamp is bending towards me. I have become superconductive, and everything in this space is waiting on me to allocate this energy. So I sing. I sing to my houseplants and they open and stretch up towards me. I see an entity in my peripheral. When I sing to it, it comes out of the background and parades its iridescence. It is like a bismuth crystal formation, spreading and crystalizing my whole room.

As I feel myself coming back, I take another hit of my vape. The awesome thing about changa with weed is that you can prolong the experience significantly, although it's somewhat diminished after the initial transformation.
The next toke brings a new presence into the scene. It is very familiar. Its the yellow and pink entity that I saw the only other time I reached the edge of breakthrough. She is definitely female, and she is not so alien to me that I am actually able to open a dialogue before she goes away.
Remembering an idea I have struggled with for a long time now, I ask her, "How does one transform sound into vision?"
She says only, "Dreams"

Once I came back fully, my hysterical laughter was only interrupted by the occasional yawn. Hmmm yawns… Here's an idea:
Yawning is still a mysterious phenomenon to clinical science. They are generally associated with approaching and waking up from sleep, but we have no idea what the physiological impulse behind them is. They are contagious, not only from person to person, but even between people and animals!
Another scientific mystery is the "practical" purpose for the DMT neurotransmitter in the brain. WE all know what it does, and we know it is produced in especially large amounts during REM sleep. People often report "the yawns" with DMT.
Could yawning be like a byproduct or signature of the DMT organism? If someone could link those 2 phenomenon, it would prove at least a somewhat formidable theory of an interconnecting field that conscious organisms are tuned into, and another idea confirming the association of consciousness and Dimethyltryptamine.

Are you implying that this is a place that you have seen? What was it like for you? What should I look for next time? I could hardly pay attention to the landscape as I was so taken by this giant. Have you experienced the superconductivity upon return? I am very skeptical, but if there is any chance that these dimensions can be validated between multiple travelers, that's more reason to take it seriously and pay attention.

Seconded

Exactly.

Great report Thumbs up

I love ones that give the reader more than a description of the pretty sights. Sounds like you gained a good deal of info on how to navigate hyperspace.

Absolutely splendid account of a beautiful voyage - thanks so much for sharing.

question: was the "vape" you used a GVG? you mentioned "vaporized", but i was wondering which device sent you into this realm?

thanks again!

Music is alive and in your soul. It can move you. It can carry you. It can make you cry! Make you laugh. Most importantly, it makes you feel! What is more important than that?

Yawning ! Laughing
I mean: yes its very mysterious and has a profound effect on modulating one's state.
On an oral trip that tends too far for momentary abilities, yawning puts it all together and in the right balance. Like a master Big grin

Hello and welcome, and please forgive me — I was just teasing. I haven't literally "been there" as distinctly as I made it sound. I said that as a goof, and to stimulate discussion. In all seriousness your experience sounds fascinating, and I have been there in some vague sense; at the very least I can say I've met a giant or two.

I certainly can relate to the feeling of "superconductivity" on the comedown. I know somebody who calls it kundalini. It's as if my body is a wire and a huge torrent of energy is flowing through me.

About validation between multiple travelers: that's a sticky issue. What exactly would constitute proof of anything? I mean, to a diehard skeptic, even if two people drew almost identical pictures of what they saw, it could be attributed to social programming and shared archetypes.

BTW, the Hyperspace Lexicon document is wonderful at describing many of these archetypes and "areas" of hyperspace https://wiki.dmt-nexus.me/Hyperspace_lexicon

I also know someone who insists this is kundalini. I do not know enough about kundalini to make judgment on it one way or another, but I guess it's worth doing the research.

Perhaps giants are a common enough archetype. But what if I did not leave the archetypal realm of human history? I would like to imagine that plant energy allocating giants are precisely the kind of entities shamans would make alliance with to do their work. Unfortunately I don't know any shaman that can support or deny. But as for validity in shared experiences, the significance would be in commonalities of much stranger territory. Things that we cannot speak, draw, paint, sculpt, sing or dance. But if we could somehow recreate hyperspacial / multidimensional objects to share with our friends, we could more easily study their implications. Is that even possible from a realm beyond the archetypal mind? Not without the proper technology. If it's not as language-able as the energy giant, it can still be emulated with infinitely greater clarity and awe in virtual reality. My interest in graphic and visual technology goes much further than it's surface appeal to the entertainment industry. I think we possess the technology today to create a graphics engine that can essentially navigate hyperspace like a maze. Imagine if a shaman took me to a "legitimate" spirit realm for example, and I was then inspired to recreate said realm virtually. I could then use projections of that realm to navigate back to it. Like marking certain dimensions with a beacon for reliable return.
…just an idea
