On Saturday night I had remember having a few dreams. Three of which were about me in different airports waiting to catch flights. No big deal, as I had recently traveled a couple times via air it didn't seem very significant or out of the ordinary.

The troubling part was that night I also remember a dream where there was 3 guys in a dark room holding another guy captive. I had the feeling this guy was being tortured.

The graphic part that I can remember was at one point they had his head completely off, and holding it upside down. The jaw was missing and I could see right to the bottom of the brain. The men were pouring liquid soap and spreading it around on the bottom of the brain, like that pink antibacterial stuff you see in institutions all the time.

My next vision was of the brain no longer incased in the skull, right side up. They were now pouring a corrosive substance that was dissolving the brain. Then I woke up.

I had a sick feeling in my stomach when I woke up and was thinking about it, and I still kind of get a little sick thinking about it now. I find the image of the soap being poured and spread around on the brain particularly disturbing.

I've been thinking about these images off and on to see if I can derive any meaning from them.

Saturday morning I did work with the spice and it was a relatively pleasant trip. I went into it with the belief that the place I go is to my subconscious, or that it helps my conscious and subconscious communicate directly. I have also been reading Jung's Psychology and Alchemy and subscribing to the theme of that book. Saturday during the trip I had some anxiety from the feeling of opening myself up, or something invasively contacting my mind.
I thought through it and reasoned that I do not know my subconscious and that union with it may feel like invasion of an alien presence. I also had the idea that the craziness and nonsense that I experience in the medium intensity DMT trips is my conscious self's way of "blocking" contact with the subconscious. I had the feeling I need to "rewire" my brain to allow a more pleasant and seemless communication between my conscious and subconscious.

So to bring it all together I was thinking
Conscious mind = brain
Following the Jungian book theme, 3 against 1 dissolving the brain makes sense. The subconscious is attempting to break down the barriers my conscious has built to stop it from coming in, and is wining. I stood by as an observer, because I am allowing it to happen. Of course my conscious, or more specifically my ego sees this as a threat, and as such I would see it in a scene that feels threating, invasive, and disturbing.

Anyone else study dreams, Jung, Alchemy, or anything related and have any input?
Anyone have any input without studying any of those things?

As a side note on Sunday night I was thinking about working with the spice again but decided not as I started thinking about that disturbing dream and really didn't want to face anything like that while tripping.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Perhaps that person required the pink disinfectant soapy lubricant?

Are you a lucid dreamer?
If you are too worried to delve into hyperspace, a good idea would be to explore the meaning of the dream while lucid. Best of luck Smile
“Among other things, you'll find that you're not the first person who was ever confused and frightened and even sickened by human behavior. You're by no means alone on that score, you'll be excited and stimulated to know. Many, many men have been just as troubled morally and spiritually as you are right now. Happily, some of them kept records of their troubles. You'll learn from them—if you want to. Just as someday, if you have something to offer, someone will learn something from you. It's a beautiful reciprocal arrangement. And it isn't education. It's history. It's poetry.” J.D. Salinger.

Yeah maybe, but why does the dream have to be so graphic and disturbing?

Thank you for the video. I am in the process of learning how to garden.

I am not a lucid dreamer, pretty much the opposite actually.

I'm normally a little timid about blasting off, but I'm actually making progress in that regard.

The day after that disturbing dream I was contemplating blasting off but I started thinking about that dream again and I really didn't like the vibe that it gave so I decided not too. Last night I did blast off and it was an immensely pleasant, even though that dream did cross my mind for an instant while I was in hyperspace, the positive energy from that trip seemed to dissolve it almost immediately.
