So I noticed the Questionnaire Questions were a little short on the human side of things so I thought we could think up some new questions to possibly add to get a little more depth on people's personalities, emotions, experiences, etc to see what kind of person wanted to become a member. So I contacted TheTraveler and he said to make a thread about it and he could add some new questions if they were good so here it is. -When you go through negative times, how do you handle it? -When have you experienced suffering in your life and how did you handle it? -Do you believe that love exists? -Do you fear anything? If so, what? -Why do you fear that thing? -Do you ever feel lonely? -Do you ever despair? If so, when? -What is your ideal vision of a utopia for humanity? -What is your ideal vision of this world? -If you could change one thing in this moment with your life what would it be? What questions would you ask a new member? What would you like to know about one of your fellow members? What questions do YOU think should be added to the questionnaire? Thanks for reading

Yes yes yes yes. I think the questions as they stand now are a bit biased toward the drugnerd/chem/drug history buff. I would say some of your questions, spacex, are a bit too broad, however. Especially the ones near the end, like "what is your ideal vision of a utopia for humanity." I dunno about you, but I could write a book, nay, a book series on that vision. But yeah, in general, I support balancing the questions away from being so information-heavy and more well-rounded. From the unspoken Grows the once broken

I am a big fan of this idea! I like the thought behind a lot of your questions, specifically "What do you fear and why". Is there any way we could set up a poll for a few weeks or months and have members vote on questions and pick a few of there favorites? We could draft out 10-20 questions and then vote on 5 for example. Would love to here some more ideas for questions and I will try and think of some myself! โHow long will this last, this delicious feeling of being alive, of having penetrated the veil which hides beauty and the wonders of celestial vistas? I very much agree with the idea. A good thread question was "Why do you take entheogens"? My flesh moves, like liquid. My mind is cut loose.

I respectfully disagree. Seems to me the Questionnaire is designed to encourage folks to do some research if their knowledge base is a bit less than it should be. I mean think about it. You could do some serious harm to self and others by not having some of the basic knowledge covered in the Questionnaire. The Questionnaire is a way to strengthen knowledge bases and encourages harm control by focusing on that. If I get a vote, I vote we keep it as is. If I get a vote, I vote we keep it as is. This. Sorry, but I don't care too much about the emotional side of new members. I care that the member: -Reads AND understands The Attitude -Has done some basic research -Puts at least a minimal effort into looking up some of the answers That's it. This is all I need. Hopefully, with a little time on the forum and in chat, the emotions and personalities come out. For this purpose it does just fine as is. In a formal questionnaire environment, questions that elicit a subjective, emotional response might cause the user under normal social peer pressures to colour their answers in a light they think the "questioners" would like to hear. Pandora you make a very good point. Although these new questions could be very interesting to hear answers too they really do not matter when it comes down to promotion of a new member. I initially liked the idea to add questions, not change any of the existing ones. I think you all may have convinced me otherwise though. I guess the emotional discussion like that should be mostly left to the forums and chat. Wonderful insight from you all! โHow long will this last, this delicious feeling of being alive, of having penetrated the veil which hides beauty and the wonders of celestial vistas? Thought up some new questions while meditating If you could change one thing about your past what would it be? What is your intent in wanting to become a member? What would be a good question to add to this questionnaire? What's your general opinion about the forums? RhythmSpring wrote:Yes yes yes yes.

There's no point in going full "dating profile" for this forum. In time, the new member will divulge all they wish to share, whether it is emotional or not. Perhaps instead of emotional questions, maybe focus on questions regarding intention. Does your intent help with your experience? 3. What's your primary intent on this planet? 4. What's the primary intent in your life? 5. What role do you think intent plays in someones actions?

Perhaps instead of emotional questions, maybe focus on questions regarding intention. The question is simple, is the purpose of the Questionnaire to get people to do there research, so intent in order to determine who should be a part of the full membership, determine the mental state of the person, or all of the above? Even with bad intentions and not doing full research most the information to extract and smoke DMT is easily available without even signing up. So, unless you intend to restrict access to the information based on these questions, adding more questions doesn't actually give you anything more. The intent, emotional state and personality of the person should become well aparent once the person starts interacting with people on the forums & chat rooms.
