Acacia wood okay for carving pipes? Options

I'm interested in carving some pipes from different acacia woods.
Are there any acacias I should avoid?

I'm not sure if there are any you should avoid, as long as the timber is nicely dried and cured Smile
If you find the termite ridden branches, some will already have a hole bored through and the tree rejects the limb so less of a damage footprint.
You don't carve the pipe, the pipe carves you Pleased
