REPORT

Hi all,

Hope I got the template above right, apologies if not.

Well, last night was my second session with the Spice. I'd first tried it exactly a week ago (trip report here: http://www.shroomery.org...Number/22533838#22533838) and last night was my second session to get further acquainted with the molecule :-)

So... I firstly I cleared out what was left within my machine from last week. I suspect it was something like 7-10mgs of unvaped spice. Didn't really do much aside from some kaleidoscopic CEVs. After waiting a couple of hours I was ready to go again. I weighed out 25mgs, melted them into my scrubber, loaded up the machine, and hit it long, slow and deep. I could feel the effects hitting me already as I was inhaling. The whole room started to visually vibrate, and objects got that super sharp crystalised look that I always seem to experience. I held my breath for 20 seconds or so. By this point, with my eyes open everything just became overwhelming, there's no way it was physically possible to take any more hits, the only option was to lie back, exhale, and close my eyes.

Whenever, I start a DMT trip, I always seem to see a big 2D neon 'cog' type thing. This appeared, and then I was immediately overwhelmed with a ton of yellow-gold, super clear fractal images. At the same time I had this sense of a female presence - at first I thought it was my partner in the other room, but then I felt a hand at the back of my head which seemed to be gently lifting me up. I heard (or felt?) the female presence say something like 'Don't worry, we will take you / show you the way'.

It felt like I was taken 'into' the fractals (previously it had felt like I could just see them above me). It was like a fractal, psychedelic rollercoaster where I was moving really quickly from one fractal room to another. The rooms would kind of 'fold' in on themselves into new rooms and corridors. At one point I saw what I thought was a tunnel into another dark universe (like looking up into the night sky), but I seemed to be directed back into the crazy, merging fractal space. This all happened really quickly, too fast to take anything in. As I entered some 'rooms' the pace would slow down to get a quick look, but then rapidly speed up again to go elsewhere. At one point I entered a fractal room where there were three 'entities' that seemed to be also made up of the same fractal stuff. It was like they were praying to (or trying to show me) an object that was in the middle of them. Once again though I was whisked away into the ever transforming fractally madness.

Throughout this time I had no awareness of my physical body. I could certainly 'feel' the presence of something / someone else, usually on the edges of my vision, but apart from the three fractal entities that I briefly saw, and the voice at the beginning, there was no entity contact.

Things slowly subsided and I started to become aware of my body and breathing. I came back to an awareness of my mouth first, then I noticed myself breathing and gradually became aware of the rest of my body. I felt super relaxed (which I didn't the first time) and really good, though a little shaky. The CEVs weakened and before I knew it I was back here completely, grinning like a lunatic :-) The whole experience felt like 2-3 minutes, it really did fly by, but from start to finish over 20 minutes had passed!

Anyway, this experience has left me with a few questions.....

Was this what you'd term a breakthrough experience? I know labels can be unhelpful, but I'm just not sure if I 'broke through'. I had certainly left my body but the experience didn't really give me any insight or revelations. Don't get me wrong, it was an amazing experience, but I guess I'm hoping to use the molecule for spiritual exploration and there was none of that. It was just like a crazy movie.

Is it possible to go beyond the fractals? Is there anything else to DMT apart from this fractal awesomeness? The last two trips have both been at 25mgs, and the peak of the experience has been within this fractal world both times. I get the feeling there must be something more based on what I've read, and I want to experience this. Should I just up the dosage?

Time distortion! People often say that the experiences feel like they last longer than 'real' time. Mine was the opposite! It was like only 2-3 minutes had passed but in the real world it was more than 20. Has anyone else experienced this? It was a little disappointing really, I want to enjoy the experience more and take it in as much as I can, but it seemed to fly by in a whirlwind.

Anyway, thanks for reading. Peace & love.

Hmm, I actually had a similar experience. Though I found mine to be rather intense. Mine was more like an "ice cream dog rollercoaster", in that there was a dog at the head of the rollercoaster who would turn around and try to make me laugh. When I did, my snort/chortle would reshuffle the hyperdimensional land scape. This made the dog (and me) VERY happy. So I continued to make these guttural growls that my friends described as "demonic" (though it felt benevolent to me) and me and the ice cream dog had a really good time with it.

Since that experience, I've been vocalizing during pretty much all of my spice trips. It seems this is the constructive glossolalia that Terence McKenna describes. Speaking objects into existence.

To me, it sounded like you did "break through". I say this mostly because of the entity contact and the feeling of being flung "in to" the fractals rather than watching them. I believe that since it was only your first time having this intense of an experience it was very hard for your mind to process all, if any of it. Seeing things you can't describe and feeling things you don't have words for can be a bit overwhelming at first. It may take a few more trips to hyperspace to start to get comfortable and be able to take out teachings. This is most definitely how it was for myself. Don't get discouraged! Thumbs up

This has only happened to me a handful of times. For me it was when my dosage was not quite high enough and the experience was not as intense as i would have liked. Although it does not necessarily sound like this is the case, perhaps you are correct in your other question and a dosage change is in order. 25mg should be enough but working your way up to 30 might not be a bad idea after a few more experiences at your current dose. If you do decide to go this route make sure you increase slowly and carefully.

Thanks for sharing the experience! best of luck in your travels and may you find the spiritual insight you are looking for. Big grin

Hi both,

Sorry for the late reply and thanks for both of your replies.

Since that post I've had one further session with the spice which was similar in content, but even more intense. It really did feel like I'd been taken somewhere totally alien.

During one of the recent trips I had a very strange experience that I can't fully remember. I remember at one point being shown something 'impossible' by an entity. It's hard to describe it any better. It was like I was shown something that couldn't possibly exist, but it did and was right there in front of me. I can't, though, remember what it was I'd been shown!

I've no doubt now that my experiences were what you'd describe as a breakthrough.

I've not been discouraged an am keen to continue when I'm called :-)

I too have found myself in rooms that fold in and fold out, at usually faster than desirable rates. For myself, this phenomenon happens in a very particular part of hyperspace. There is this large gate. It is adorned with gold, like golden lions. The geometry of the gate can unfold in quadrants - each quadrant a room. Each quadrant is always the same room, so the lower left quadrant (the only one I can remember) folds out into a child's bedroom. There is a bookcase (replete with what seems like children's books), toys strewn about the floor (toy duck, rocketship...), a made bed with a fluffy comforter and pillows and a window leading outside (I never see what is outside). This room has always been striking to me because of the mundane scene with the mundane objects.

I must have visited that bedroom a handful of times before I realized it was connected to the larger picture of the quadrants. It typically would zoom in so fast into the bedroom, that I would hardly notice or remember the gate when all was said and done. One time, I not only got a nice long view of the gate, but the experience was showing me the other rooms, as it would neatly and effortlessly fold away one room, so it could unfold another. It is also rather bizarre how the rather simplistic geometry of the gate can rearrange to create such a variety of scenes.

Thanks for your description Global. Yes, I haven't yet seen anything mundane whilst under, it's all been very other worldly.

One thing I have noticed is that each time I vape, I seem to see more and more of hyperspace, almost like bit by bit, I'm getting further and deeper. This is good.

When I smoke the spice, I usually do three sessions. I've also noticed that the third and final session always seems to be a little darker and more intimidating than the others. Not sure why this is, but it's a common occurrence for me.

I haven't touched the spice for over a month now as I've been out of the country over the Christmas. Thinking about hitting it again is both exhilarating and frightening.

It's odd really. I do have somewhat of an addictive nature to my personality. I have a longstanding Cannabis addiction (though I remain highly functional, fortunately). I debated long and hard about trying DMT as I didn't want to feel the same way about another substance as I do about weed, but I have none of the compulsion with this substance. I love it, but I really feel no compulsive need to take it. I know it's there when I feel ready. In many ways it's the perfect drug!

DMT certainly has a 'self-regulating' feature to it. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure that there's people out there that do have some kind of addiction to it but it isn't common.

Are you going in stoned each time?

Hi Jaffster,

No, I manage to regulate my weed use as well as I can, in that I don't generally smoke any during the day. I'll wait till I've worked, come home, sorted the kids out, done family stuff etc. Only when everyone's gone to bed will I have an hour or two with Mary Jane.

Same thing, when I'm planning a DMT session I won't smoke any until after I'm done with Dimitri, so I'm usually straight headed when going in.
