The meaning of the name Ganesha is "Lord of Hosts", it also pops up in the bible with the trunk being likened to as a sword coming from their mouth. It also mentions birds (the two legged beings called birds have a sword as their mouth which is also their sign language multitool - very much like an oliphants trunk) and a meal (with birds) There is a nonvedic pentatonic carnatic raag called "sound of swans/geese/ducks" it is very dear to and said to invoke Ganesha: In her she form, Ganesha may actually be the creator of obstacles...(?) Ganesha can also slap with his/her trunk!? We don't know. Gnosticism vs Agnosticism, Ganapati is said to be the unifier of opposites.

I've just discovered that my cat was stealing my wife incense sticks and taking to her "secret" stash in the yard, rubbing herself on it... Now I know why she's smelling so good. Bad, bad kitty! LOVE, no matter what.

The stupidity of this post, though: Quote:My cat is on my lap right now, after declining that same tree (we live in a house and she can runaway any time she wants). Disclaimer: All posts are to be considered fictitious. Author of account-posts is "Role Playing".

I don't get it. What is stupid? My cat had come down from the tree, entered the house and climbed om my lap. Even if, for some reason, it is really stupid I don't think that's a nice thing to write. Imagine if anyone could write in other's peoples posts "your post is stupid.". I think that's not the way to discuss things. LOVE, no matter what.

You have to expect many people to take issue with your decision to dose your cat with a very powerful psychedelic. It speaks to your lack of experience and maturity, IMO. People are going to call you stupid and reckless for doing something so stupid and reckless. Simple.
Personally, I think DMT as your first real psychedelic experience isn't the best idea either. It's a choice you're free to make, but it's not one I would make in hindsight. DMT can't be taken lightly. At least not for long.

There's a thread on here with a friend who was collecting all the Ganesh experiences of the nexus/erowid. They found alot in total. I met Ganesh a while back (maybe 4-5 years). Seems to be one commonality of initiation. Living to Give

You're right Metanoia. DMT as first psychedelic is too much, also with a relative high dosage, I guess that would explain the sweat and all the other side effects, I mistakenly assumed that the obtained DMT was not pure enough for me. Cave paintings, I saw that post with the Ganesh experiences too, " Ganesha: The DMT Initiator" and I was also surprised with so many reports having Ganesha as an Initiator, even more for being an agnostic person. For me, on that occasion, I thought she came to me to tell me that it was not my time. LOVE, no matter what.
