225 micrograms is Thumbs up for me, but the sky's the limit. Big grin

For me, with LSD, as opposed to some other psychs, I have no trepidation high dosing. In fact , low doses- under say 200ug are simply uncomfortable for me. With acid and me , I'm either there or I'm not, and half in doesn't cut it.

my first time with acid a decade or so ago I took 2 blotters. Trying to guess the amount of micrograms on a given blotter is pointless though.

Last weekend was stronger than that first time..and that first time was also awesome. The guy who dosed me last week is really into LSD and was talking about making blotter 3x the potency of most other blotter. So, I don't know how much I ate. I just ate one and that was a good spot to be at for me. Highly visionary but I could still keep it somewhat together with only brief periods on and off where I was feeling a bit too overwhelmed.

I definitely feel like with acid you need to just ride the stuff out though.
Long live the unwoke.

My first time with lsd was 2 blotters of green shields which I am told were not that strong, I also had a black microdot which was stronger, both times were great, but for a first dose I would say 200ug is probably the sweet spot so I would say between 100-200ug, other more experienced users of lsd may give better advice though.

I can't comment on the microgram dosage as I've never been aware of it. If you have access to it, it is probably in paper blotter/tab form, REMOVED, NO TALK ABOUT BUYING/SELLING!. I recommend 2 tabs to understand what LSD is all about, and 3 tabs for an epic adventure into your own mind. One can do more than 3 tabs at a time, but I don't recommend that for a first time. Besides, you probably can't distinguish >4 tab dosages due to build-up of tolerance/insanity. If you want to start with very little, you can take just one tab but, on the occasions that I've taken just one tab, I found the effects to be too subtle to get the appreciable LSD effects (maybe that's because I'm used to the effects somewhat). Plus, that LSD is usually hard to come by is a good enough reason to not risk doing too little on any one occasion, in my opinion. So in conclusion, I recommend 2 tabs for a great first time. Again, this is just a heuristic, since you may not have the option of knowing for sure how many "micrograms" are in each tab.

All that being said, I should also add that I too am crazy about LSD Pleased
It's one of the purest and most beneficial psychedelic experiences you can have in my opinion. Every time you do it is like being reborn; like seeing the world without all of the structure that our sober minds normally impose on our perceptions. By riding the wave of powerfully raw imagination, you'll be able to explore states of consciousness that you never even new existed, where you'll be able to make connections that you never could before. Granted, you can't take some of these connections back to the "real" world with you, but its still a very fascinating experience to be freed from your tiny mind.
Every day I am thankful that I was introduced to psychedelic drugs.

Fantastic trip report, Jamie Love Love

I especially can identify with the experience you had, just like DK, about the connection you feel when embracing someone you are close to that is also tripping.

It is a really interesting phenomenon that I think happens all the time, most of which we are just unaware of. William Burroughs wrote about the topic in his essay, "The Third Mind".

I have had many experiences also, in deep conversation with a few very close friends (all on acid) where I sensed that our personalities, ways of speaking, and even to a less noticeable degree experience of reality becomes interwoven into a more singular kind. The gateway to this experience was putting on a very intimate song for me in the presence of everyone else. This song just always hits me in a similar spot. In the presence of my friends, it had QUITE a different effect. I wondered WHY? what is the difference? I had listened to it tripping many times before and it had never sounded like this. I finally reasoned that it was because my emotional state was tied to my friends' emotional states and the way they process music. I sensed their emotions based on subconsciously processed things like tone of voice, body language, eye contact and the like. It is transferred to me and vice versa.

Our personalities change. Are you the same person around your grandma that you are around your friends? Are you the same person to your aunt that you are to your S.O.? Are you the same person to people you look down upon than you are to people you deeply admire (or fear)? Surely not.

The shift in personality shifts your experience of reality. Because you and your friends are already close, this results in a more homogenous blend of personality and experience. The acid made me more aware.

At one particularly deep point during this particular experience, I literally saw the life essences of everyone in the group travelling to the speaker right before they were about to speak. My subconscious mind knew that they were about to speak because of what I had subconsciously calculated as their tendencies. It wasn't just their life essence though; it was all of ours.

An experiment for your all (feel free to attempt at home). Pick a song that is very personal to you. One that has a really clear personal message. Next time you are with a group of really close friends, wait until conversation has died down, and put on aforementioned song. Notice how it changes.

BONUS: Try this experiment first with the person you love the most, who understands you the most. Second, try it out with someone that you really do not identify with so much.

I think that the title of this song is very literal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zcb1ZN7Jo_4
Once in a while, you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

Start with one, or 100-200ug. It's really quite fun at lower levels, you shouldn't be disappointed even if it doesn't turn out to be strong enough for you.

After you get a feel for it, try more the next time if you really want to.

That is why I am glad I found DMT... because LSD is pretty much non-existent in my area anymore. It is an RC madhouse and I can hardly stand it...but I digress

I concur with you, the second last vial i had was surely not LSD,it was surely some other amphetamine....DOx series mostly. I don't know what it was, but the body load the following day was horrible, made me and swim very weak.

In the lingering moments before you die your body releases DMT‬. The same drug that makes you dream. The same drug found in every living animal. It's not an evolutionary trick to make you survive. Your body is choosing to release this drug now because it believes your fate is too grim for you to comprehend. So you dream. You dream that everything will be fine. You dream that nothing happened at all. It's in this moment that your body sits across from you. It tells you 'looks like we're not gonna make it this time.' You sit around a fire and recollect the past before soon parting ways back to the atomic ether. Your body does this because it loves you. You have never met anyone like your body. Your body has been with you everyday, good and bad. It's even kept a journal of your life carved in scars. Your eyelashes always wiped the tears from your eyes.

LSD... there are no words... although being millionths of a gram of matter that can take one to the heart of all matter, it speaks for itself. Still, here's a few quotes that i feel expressed well the potential of this sacred medicine.

I think that in human evolution it has never been as necessary to have this substance LSD. It is just a tool to turn us into what we are supposed to be. - Albert Hofmann

The potential significance of LSD and other psychedelics for psychiatry and psychology is comparable to the value the microscope has for biology, or the telescope for astronomy.
- Stan Grof

Through experimentation with LSD, I found I could move with ease into the state of 'cosmic consciousness', and in due course became less and less dependent on the chemicals themselves for 'tuning in' to this particular wavelength of experience. – Alan Watts

As we’re also discussing dosage here, i found it interesting that when searching for the above quote I came across Watts saying that he’d used LSD from 75-100mcg, clearly finding it quite useful in that range. I couldn't recommend any dose without knowing the individual circumstances better myself, although in general i find Erowids LSD dose scale to be quite accurate.
ॐ has also started a thread for recommended first-time dose.

This Monday the 16th of November will be the 77th anniversary of the first LSD synthesis. Smile

LSD ♥

Acid is so beautiful. Smile

I tripped in Philadelphia and went to some art galleries. I saw paintings flowing into each other's canvases, sculptures coming to life and the entire city was bursting with love and energy. Bricks were popping out of the walls and moving in geometric patterns.

...and the subway felt like a spaceship!

I was beyond amazed! I will never forget my first LSD trip.

The dopaminergic stimuation is really unique, overwhelming and astonishing. I'm relatively new to ergolines and they provide a new psychedelic experience for me. It's also baffling that two grains of salt can provide such an experience.

Dosage tips:

* 25-50 µg to test the waters
* 75 µg to gain an insight into the trip
* 100 µg for a real trip
* 150 µg for getting somewhat floored // only for the experienced psychedelic user imo, you may have to suffer thru 12h if the trip goes wrong, acid isn't mushrooms, better have some diazepam at hand - the diuretic action/vasoconstriction is very pronounced, too, compared to other psys. I recommend 400 mg of magnesium in at least 2l of water, 100 mg of aspirin for improved bloodflow and some green tea extract (EGCG) to make the arteries smooth.

Yes, <3 Acid...

It's good to see some guidelines on dosage but I think dosage on blotters varies a lot and most people aren't going to know how many mics are on each tab.... REMOVED, NO TALK ABOUT BUYING/SELLING/SOURCING/ETC!. For a first time I think its best to find an experienced friend to try a tab or two from the same batch, they can give you a general sense of how strong it is.

But dosage is only one factor in the potential strength of a trip, reactions to the same dose in the same person can vary dramatically depending on your frame of mind, mood, openness, people who are around, and the setting... What is a good dose for one person at one time might be too much or too little for another person, or the same person at a different time. I try not to get hung up too much on dosage, just eat one tab forget about how much it might or might not have been. The rest is more important.

I've always thought of LSD as being comparable to an ant destroying a sky-scraper building...

It's always seemed bizarre how Something nearly invisible, nearly microscopic, can bring something as large as a human down...

LSD has some really complex pharmocological action compared to other psychedelics:

·Psychedelic Phenethylamine compounds = 5HT2a + 5HT2c (general receptor site agonism)

·Psychedelic Tryptamine compounds = 5HT1a + 5HT2a + 5HT2c

·LSD = 5HT2a + 5HT2c + 5HT1a + 5HT1b + 5HT1d + 5HT5a + 5HT6 + 5ht7 + D1 + D2 + D3 + D4 + alpha2

I was around 21 years old the first time I took LSD, I had experiance with mescaline, psilocin, MDMA, and so on from my youth, but for whatever reason I never managed to consume LSD until my early 20s...and I'm glad I waited, LSD thoroughly blew my mind, a psychedelic like none other.

First I was very pleased that there were no issues regarding consumption, there was no choking down bitter brews or choking down bad tasting plant/fungi matter, no harsh smoke to inhale, no painful Insufflation, nothing, it was like never took anything, but then the effects were enough to level me, some very intense psychedelia.

The second thing I noticed was the range the experiance had, beautiful, complex, and highly visual.

at times it's a grandiose euphoria, where you, for all intents and purposes, are God, at other times you can feel more humbled and helpless than a new-born, at times it can be extremely psychoanalytical and process driving, at other times it can be a direct connection with the divine...it can be ultimate clarity or beautiful insanity.

LSD is complex, fascinating, and my all time favorite psychedelic, I could spend all day speaking about LSD, I even feel I sold myself shirt in this post by refraining to discuss the compound further.

...we need more people like Nick sand, Tim scully, owsley Stanley, Alexander shulgin, Casey hardison, and so on...

We need more people who are willing to manufacture and spread this amazing compound, and who are able to do it properly, Nick sand and owsley Stanley and the work they did with kesey and the pranksters, the grateful dead, and their work involving the production and distribution of "Orange sunshine" and "white lightening" LSD should be seen as an example to anybody out there who has the talent and skill to produce LSD...Casey hardison had the right motivations and spirit, but still could have done so much more than he was able.

A small work up for LSD production will leave the chemist with at least 3 grams, now this is a small work up, 3g is equal to about 30,000 100ug doses, now, this small work up could be preformed by a single chemist in a single weekend...This is the "danger" of LSD in the systems eyes, a single chemist can produce enough LSD to dose an entire small city in a single weekend...

Properly is the magic word. I mean LSD is not for everybody and I can see the harm it may cause to certain persons, giving them a good "death" trip. I mean there are so many dumb ppl out there, not willing to get informed and just swallowing the crap they get offered, in a certain way I understand the state wanting to control the substances. Most manufacturers aren't even printing some basic information (dose, manufacturing date, the used substance like 1P, ALD-52, 25I etc.) on the backside of the blotter. I mean the stupidity on the user & manufacturer side is mindblowing, too.

I think we need more legitimate research and more licenses for ppl who can handle the molecule. What's the problem even? Nichols et al. should just open up a crypto currency account for their research budget and the money flows. Nutt collected 50,000 GBP in no time. If every intelligent acid user chips in with some $2-500, the researchers have plenty of money to spend. And obviously you are allowed to do research in the UK & CH with humans. I remember some human 25B or 25C studies in DK, too.

yes 3 hoots for acid... unique in its endless potential and its freeform feel. was my first psychedelic experience and was unbelieveably deep..the first time a visionary headspace is enetered is always gonna be mindblowing and i often wondered what it would have been like if i did so for the first time with another psychedelic - but i'm glad something as deep and enduring as acid was used to do so as coming back from the experience takes a little while, and really gives you the feeling you've undergone something very special

i hold acid oh so close to my heart ... it was an initiation into the mystery for me

LSD was not my first psychedelic experience, but my first LSD experience was my first real 'breakthrough'. I've indulged countless times since then and it never ceases to amaze me. I think it's a truly universal psychedelic, a pinch will almost always do you good! Big grin
