if you read some of the old grimoires, especially medieval manuscripts ( check out esotericarchives) like the Claviculas Solomonis Rex (Key of Solomon the King) , there are several workings that supposedly allow one to "undersatnd the language of birds". It is said that bird-speak is the tongue of Angels, and yes the great mysteries are revealed in such. then again, if you speak the angel's tongue, you'd already be there right?

I really appreciate the references and Ill definitely look them up, for some reason ever since I was little I have always found it really easy to communicate with animals. My two small hamsters that have just passed away used to come to me when I called them by name.

I have always been quite a shy and introspective person spending a great deal of my time in the garden or with animals and maybe combined with my grandmothers connection with birds... which seems to have been passed down to me genetically greatly contributes to my connection that I seem to have with animals, though as of yet I'm unsure.
