I just discovered the "psychedelic salon" podcast on iTunes. I just wanna let those who haven't heard of it know, it's interesting. There are at least 100 audios of different things psychedelic related. I'm tanning in Florida and sometimes get bored of my music, but listening to these, new to me, speeches from Terence McKenna, Dennis McKenna, Leary, Shulgin, and a lot of other people involved in the field is much less boring. I can sit out in the sun and listen to intellectual discussions and philosophical speeches that involve psychedelics, and not even think about what time it is, I just listen and think.

I'd like to point out, that I don't mean that these podcasts are truths. Just interesting psychedelic ideas. Psychedelics are different for everyone, while there are some constant-like similarities, the experience is completely unique. You should integrate your journey into your own life by yourself, without the advice of McKenna or others speaking to what the experiences mean. T
We are surprisingly similar.

great podcast! I recommend the houseboat summit with alan watts, allen ginsberg, timothy leary, allen cohen, and gary snyder. It took place right after the first human be-in and is interesting to hear the true heads talk about the start of the movement and where it could head. also, the aldous huxley episode with his speech, "the ultimate revolution," was really fascinating and prescient.

Lorenzo Haggerty is just amazing. I have so much love and respect for this guy! What he does is nothing short of amazing, he's a true community builder and willing to put his history to good years. His book the genesis generation shows how deep his desire is to educate and spread hope that "finding the others" is possible.

I wanted to make a thread for a long while and ask for donations, but thought that the shulgins possibly need it more at this time. I still have bought his "Genesis Generation" in audio book format - his voice is so soothing.

The new Psychonautica i don't like so much..i only know one shroomwithaview episode and the moderator is kinda bad at talking to people.

Another very thought provocing podcast is : http://c-realm.com/ It doesn't always deal with psychedelics, but more with related topics such as magic, futurology, community building etc

You summed it up beautifully. Thumbs up

Some great thought provoking stuff on the psychedelic salon. These podcasts have been my companion on many long journeys.. they can take you from a board discussion with the great minds on psychedelics to a roller coaster ride of elves with Terence mckenna.
Lerenzo is such a kind & loving person and is spreading podcasts with a psychedelic vibe free of charge. If lerenzo ever visits the nexus and see's this..

THANK-YOU!

I've only just recently discovered the world of the podcast, and am surprised at the professionalism displayed by some of the good ones. The salon was actually my intro to them abs yeah, Lorenzo is so great to listen to, love his voice and demeanor.

Obli, thanks for that link, as a raging esotericist, i find some of ts occult pods really informative. Occult of Personality and the Under the Sun episodes at Trans-resister are really good on occult subjects and personalities.

Just finished listening to one, sorry I'll have to find the name, that interviewed workers from the crossroads ibogaine clinic in Mexico that was fascinating and brought me some hope. The ideas these people are exploring to ease the suffering of addicts is amazing, and enlightened with reason and compassion. In fact, it gave me the idea of opening communication with then and applying for an internship. Which i haven't done.. .yet. ..

Hello nexians,

Just to revive an old topic, the salon now has 473 podcast available for free download. Everything from Aldous Huxley to Tim Leary to Terence McKenna, philosophy, science and debating. Truly fascinating to dig through, something for anyone hiding in those 473 podcasts.

Happy listening!

On the Podomatic Podcast station there's two podcasts that are DMT-centric;

Entheogenic Evolution
(Admittedly, Ball can be anywhere between polarizing and up his own ass, but he does have great guests, and the interviews tend to be engaging listens. For those unfamiliar, he takes on a somewhat s6range 5-MeO-DMT is a more important drug than NN-DMT point of view, which I've always found odd, alongside a lot of potshots at Terrence McKenna, so if that sounds like it might grind your gears, by all means steer clear.)

In A Perfect World
(Rak Razam's podcast which can be good although the early episodes display a pretty steep learning curve in terms of his comfort with the medium.)

Also, this podcast is to the best of my understanding, a comedian's podcast, but the following three-part episode is an engaging listen as two comedians discuss, and inevitably experience DMT live on the show.

Thanks for the link to The Couch Sessions. Listening to this literally gave me the chills.

It's amazing how powerful dmt is.

How it can bring back the experience so powerfully even months later.

I was listening to McKenna talk about quantum physics before and I literally felt he was articulating a dmt experience I had months earlier.
That moment when you wonder if this time you went too far....

Obviously everything discussed here is the fictional accounts of someone with an out there imagination. I mean really could any of these tales be real?

Nostalgia kicking in hard right now Smile
The psychedelic salon is the first psychedelic-oriented media I started to consume right after I first tried mushrooms, and opened my perspective to many a broad horizon (including my first ever exposure to Terence Mckenna). I still (re-)listen Lorenzo's podcasts to this day, be at on the commute to/from work or at home. He can be counted along the influential elders he's promoting for sure, such a wonderful wonderful guy! Thumbs up
