I saw this earlier, very fascinating! Obviously it's a LONG shot, but it could be something like a 'Dyson Sphere', or more like a Dyson Ring of some kind (if you all haven't read the Hyperion Cantos.... give it a read!)
<Ringworm>hehehe, it's all fun and games till someone loses an "I"

How amazing it is to think that some of these glimpses of our surroundings could be inhabited by our richest imaginations. 'What's going to happen?' 'Something wonderful.'

This is fascinating. I'm a skeptic, but based simply on statistics, I would be surprised if there weren't intelligent life elsewhere. If we were to actually find evidence of it, I wonder what kind of paradigm shift we would see. I can imagine what kind of emotional impact it would have on me, but who knows. I hope it does turn out to be E.T., I think that would be a healthy discovery for the human species. I hope it does turn out to be E.T., I think that would be a healthy discovery for the human species. I genuinely don't know: either it would change pretty much everything all at once, triggering massive, passionate discourse all over the world, and fundamentally how we relate to each other. OR No one would care and it would get lost in the see of Kardashian postings and campaign bs. I don't know which would be more shocking, honestly. I'm all for it. I hope the guys get the ability to go through with the experiments. Maybe it would push all the Kardashiwhatevers off the grid of influence. Maybe that's why 'they' want us to think all the ET intelligence stuff is a bunch of nonsense, as they fear the possibility of the mass awakening which will wipe the celeb Satan fellators off the map... As regards the astronomical data, I reckon it's the debris of an interplanetary nuclear war - if humans are anything to go by. Now there's a real wake-up call... “There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work." ― Jacques Bergier, quoting Fulcanelli

I saw this earlier too and it's fascinating. I cannot wait for more information like size and chemical makeup of these objects. If you want to take a taste of the REALLY fantastic when it comes to LARGE cosmic structures, I highly recommend Charles Stross "Accelerando," and for fun the sequel "Glasshouse." "But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. The present moment, ultimately, is more than enough, a gift of grace and unfathomable value, which our friend and lover death paints in stark relief."-Rick Doblin, Ph.D. MAPS President, MAPS Bulletin Vol. XX, No. 1, pg. 2Hyperspace LOVES YOU

Exactly. Quote:Original paper: By considering the observational constraints on dust clumps orbiting a normal main-sequence star, we conclude that the scenario most consistent with the data in hand is the passage of a family of exocomet fragments, all of which are associated with a single previous breakup event. http://arxiv.org/pdf/1509.03622v1.pdf
