Ashes and DustThis eternal, fleeting moment
God's gift of perpetual torment
The truth of all suffering
is His love for us existing
A primate may take delight
in the light behind her sight
recognize her duality
and take her place in totality
But what of one who's gone beyond
Upon whom damnable revelations have dawned
She who loves the entire moment
Ecstasy equal to torment
She who finds eternity's end
beyond the heavens where most we send
at the death of the moment, just before rebirth
that creates new heaven; new life; new earth
Every possibility is stuck together
And at your end, your want for better
Renews existence
Eschews acceptance
But she who learns to love it all
Who delights in the snake behind the fall
Who cherishes tortured reality
Who worships Everything tranquilly
Who found her note and sings for God
Who by each life is gloriously awed
Who would choose to live as anything
_ _ in Heaven or Hell; any tortured being
Who only wants to forever exist
Who without suffering cannot subsist
Existence's quest:
To practice death
To rehearse eternity's final breath
That the "I am" behind everyone
can accept the end of all its fun
Submit to rest
and return to non-existence blessed
She who stopped suffering the fall
She who summed sin and virtue to all
She who knows what all can be
She who loves misery
She who answered the aged question
with sadistic love bound by compassion
She who praises God the non-existent
She the daughter of Nothing so ancient
She who at her mortal end will find
Oblivion.
