Does anyone know what that means? I've looked it up on shroomery and mycotopia and all ive fou d is it may be due to over watering but I don't think that is it as I'm watering same as always.

Any other reasons why this could happen?

Could be deposits from whatever your water is, if its super high in a particular chemical for example it may be suffocating the mycelium or flat out dying it. Water high in sulfur for example.

Too much water tends to bruise mycelium, turning it greyish/blueish/green, IME.

The yellow is mycellium "piss". It is exuded by the mycellium as a result of stress. It is often caused by bacterial competition. Perhaps you dunked the cakes in bacteria-rich water before placing in the fruiting chamber?

Well its the same water ice used in previous grows and never had this issue so I'm not too sure the cause.

I'm just hoping I can save the grow.

I've had some yellowing on colonized rye grain before which then went on to produce some fine fruits so i wouldn't worry about it too much, it seemed to me to be where the mycelium had just become very dense. Keep a close eye on it and if you see any green start to develop be sure to remove it straight away.

ignore the yellow water unless it becomes an issue.
if it IS an issue,
you have other issues that is way beyond yellow liquid.

ive noticed yellow goes with warmer temps,
and varies with strains/ species.

any good grow, your gonna see some yellow water.

gonzo CFL/ tube lighting will cuase yellowing also.
in that case, back off on light power, or switch to LED 450nm/ blue.

over long incubations will cause yellowing in some strains/ species.

in cultures on agar, yellow drops sometimes indicate hidden bacteria spots.
