Two nights ago, I had an absolutely harrowing experience with a friend. We each ate five grams dried Thai Koh Samui Super Strain mushrooms. To date, it has been the most powerful experience of this mortal coil. Extraordinary. Mind, God, Language, Intent, Consciousness all became the same thing. We were reading each other's minds. No, not reading, but knowing. My friend said to me, that after that experience, it's like one should either take the full plunge with a really high dose or very little, like 1 g, but not in-between. Because there is something many orders of magnitude more astounding that your mind becomes capable of accessing on 5 grams, than you can reach on 3.5 grams. I've tried these dosages, and Mckenna's advice on "five grams dried in silent darkness" I have found is exactly right! Anyway, my two cents Yeah, i tend to like low to moderate doses for certain settings or a full breakthrough dose, the inbetweeners can be ok but often not the most memorable experiences. Lots of people say 5g cubensis is the full ticket but i still think it's wise for people to find their own sweet spot, maybe this thread could help dispell some myths about dosing... Liberty caps average ~10mg psilocybin per 1g dried mushroom, cubenis average ~6mg with some psilocin, so the dosage would need to be adjusted accordingly if one was aiming for the '5g cubensis' dose, i will probably try 5g of liberty caps someday though. Yesterday i went with a batch of liberty caps that was just shy of 3g and it was nice, really strong, but not quite enough for a breakthrough due to the setting, not enough of that silent darkness... McKenna definitely had that part right. I love an outdoor nature trip but a strong dose of psilocybin works so well with sensory deprivation it's almost a shame to use it any other way, next time it will be a full eighth and in silent darkness as usual.

Sadly nothing. DMT scares me... this annoys me because I could feel its power. 100/200 mics of LSD every other weekend of so though. Keeps my mind sharp. i recently embarked on a 2.5g Shroom/25mg DMT experience on my b-day. It was so beautiful I had tears flowing down my cheeks while watching the sun set on my roof terrace. I feel shrooms definitely create a lovely launching pad for DMT. Chronic, I agree with your measurement regarding the strength of liberty caps vs cubensis. Those little guys definitely pack a lovely punch! Happy trails

DoingKermit: This is one of my favorite combinations. The LSDMT experience is amazing, but for me psilocybin and DMT synergizes perfectly. Definitely better together than either one alone. Making a personal relationship with these things makes a big difference. Growing-caring for and harvesting/extracting have profound effects on the experience. 2-3.5 grams of cubensis this weekend along with some changa and vaped hits this weekend on my friends familys property. Over 100 acres of private land butted up against protected state land. I feel spoiled!
Going to take some MDMA with me in case I feel like getting completely out of hand.
