I started writing some haiku, and noticed a pattern to them. I arranged them like this, and think they make a nice poem. (There is one curse word in this, however I feel it is appropriate. I could still censor that line if requested.)
Quote:childish toy-thoughts
my childish toy-thoughts
source of pain and suffering
seek enlightenment
deafening chatter
kill the mind to find silence
empty truth remains
all i want is mine
find a dream and follow it
am i now fulfilled?
fucking kids these days
cryptocash, synthetic zen
paving brave new roads
DMT blast off
chemical key to the void
beauty and sadness
these magical elves
our own thoughts and distractions
look how great we are
i asked about you
you told me to stop looking
so i found myself
but you were still there, burrowing through my memories and dreams
slippery as an eel, wiggling away whenever consciousness focused
i know who you are
teacher, nomad, traveler
fly in the corner
do you know who I am? did you want me to wake up?
enlightened doctor
heal the world to heal yourself
an endless struggle
great light beyond mind
thriving in silent darkness
shadow lies of truth
fake reality
i killed myself as a kid
yet I am still here
I became again
reincarnation; rebirth
chose to live once more
glory of glories!
the ecstasy! pain! and love!
again and again
this life is beauty
even suffering divine
experience all
you, the shooting star
threading silk through space and time
guiding lost sheep home
can you set it right?
all you find twisted and wrong
still adds up to one
the fat, setting sun
even you'll burn out some day
it is all beauty
great light beyond mind
beacon with a siren's call:
"You may live once more!"
these childish toy-thoughts
to end pain, to transcend love,
a chance: choose again
celestial roamer
I will abandon my dream
but wonder: will you?
