Hi,

SWIM recently concocted an especially powerful brew using fresh psychotria viridis. He'd like to order a bunch more of it for future use, and was wondering if he could put the leaves in the freezer for use later on down the road. Thoughts?

Thanks!

Music is alive and in your soul. It can move you. It can carry you. It can make you cry! Make you laugh. Most importantly, it makes you feel! What is more important than that?

Absolutely! Freezing will not hurt the DMT within your plant material. Some people freeze/thaw a couple times before extractions/aya brews and in some teks there is the freeze precipitation step so all in all, the freezer is best for long term storage, IME.

Thanks, that's what he was hoping to hear! He also has quite a bit of dried leaf, but that was procured almost three years ago, so unsure if it's worth cooking up... This last batch of fresh though really turned the trick!
