For sure jamie. No pigeon holes. Just trying to convey a bit of wizened cautionary re intentions, expectations, substances and their ROA.

I suspect most on this forum would concur that if one chooses to introduce others to these medicines, reasonable judgement and discernment re, "who gets what, how much, and by which ROA" are appropriate factors to consider.

To reiterate, IMO, these are sacred catalyzers(or surely can be) with profound potential for assisting growth IF used wisely.

Peace to the plant men!

Indeed. When I first started down the path, I was totaly alone in my travels. But since that time I've met a few truly amazing people in truly sincrinistic fashion. They've become some of the best freinds a person can hope to have. All I required was a lady to share my path with, to learn to grow as one as she likes to say. A lady who works to change the world in her own little way, and I found her, a truly remarkable human being. Perhaps she'd even read this and it would put a smile on her face.

You know it's funny, when I wrote this, I thought for sure I had found the one, I had met her online, and it was too good to be true. But it's alright, you live and learn. But I did meet two new friends who are into these experiences, one of which love to research it as well. I have to say that it's quite cool texting peer reviewed papers back and forth. We're going to learn a lot from each other.

Freedom's so hard
When we are all bound by laws
Etched in the scheme of nature's own hand
Unseen by all those who fail
In their pursuit of fate

I am lucky - I have tons of people in my life to discuss this stuff with and relate to. Many good people. The support of good community is hugely beneficial. I think I owe a lot of this blessing to not being secretive - being open helps make connections.

I dont usually like to do ceremony in party settings though.... I do sometimes drink with other people, but it is always in ceremonial setting with intention - usually nature, or a dark room with silence. Usually also just 1-4 other people. Even in nature we discuss beforehand that our intention is to have lots of quiet reflective time and deep inward attention. I am usually only drinking with others in the arrangement of having me help and guide them so they can get more experience and learn to do their own ceremonies....

When I want to do deeper work I drink alone or just me and my wife.

Having the community to share resources, ideas, or just for support is so hugely beneficial though - I would never give that up if I can help it.

It's pretty new to me to have someone to discuss this with in such a deep way. I mean, I know people who are into having these experiences, but it's amazing to have someone who I can discuss the science with, as well as what we think it might all mean, getting deep. In fact, the other day I asked this person, what do you think the psilocybin and dmt / aya experiences mean, and does she think that science can ever fully explain it, or is there more going on? Her response was beautiful

"It's hard to know for sure, but I do know that no statistic or science can ever explain the unity and connectedness that we feel, and that comes and grows naturally from the earth. It's not something that we found by accident, it's something that nature gave us to make us appreciate what we are apart of. Or at least that's what it means to me."

There seems to be so few people who are this deep into these things, especially in my city / region, I'm truly greatful to have connected with such a person. I think this person would fit right in here on the nexus as well.

Btw travsha, I also enjoy drinking alone, when I want to go deep. I also enjoy sharing the experience, but my most beneficial experiences have been either alone, or perhaps with one or two others, who I feel totally comfortable around.

This could be my life story...

If I'm going deep, or even if I'm going shallow Laughing , it's going to be either alone or with one or two close friends/loved ones that I trust implicitly & they know me very, very well...

You will never find me in a large crowd...

You will never find me at a big party...

That's just the way I've always rolled.Smile

Music is alive and in your soul. It can move you. It can carry you. It can make you cry! Make you laugh. Most importantly, it makes you feel! What is more important than that?

^^^Dido. I share most all of my sacred and spiritual moments with my significant other. I do some journeying on my own but it is nice to have someone to share it with. Someone who can help you comprehend what happened and to compare firsthand experiences is a beautiful thing.
