Knowing my parents, whatever the most boring option is. What is something you regret doing today? Blessings ~ND "There are many paths up the same mountain."

I regret not eating closer to when I first woke up. Second time I ask cause my last question was accidentally skipped: What's your worst habit? A dramatic shift approaches...

My worst habit used to be smoking cigarettes but I quit back in October. Now I take any and all solid objects and turn them into a percussive instrument which doesn't bother me but it bothers others sometimes! I would choose losing a leg I think. Reason being currently leg prosthetics more closely mimic the abilities of the original limb than arm prosthetics do. If I lost an arm using certain electronics would become way more difficult. Without a leg I could still do many physical activities at almost the same physical ability with a prosthetic. Name something that you do or have done that makes you a hypocrit. "Energy flows where attention goes" [Please review the forum Wiki and FAQ before posting questions]

Are your bowel movements 'regular'? I assume you speak metaphorically in the sense that my own bowl movements are actually The Universe's bowl movements trying to self-explain that it's predominant purpose is bowl movements, regular ones at that. Note though, that this universal truth is only attainable by the highest and furthest reaches of DMT experience & samahdi... Few have realised it and those that have turned in to nihilistic pessimests who usually mutter sentences to the affect of "this place is a load of shit". Why do you c..c..cl..cling to such a pathetic existence?

I don't think I'd call it pathetic. By typical societal standards at least.. I have an extremely well paying job which I enjoy, I'm healthy, generally content. I've had a lot of really great and varied experiences, more so than most, and don't always feel compelled to color within the lines. But, am I living up to my full potential in terms of depth of experience, spiritual exploration, overall joy? Most certainly not. I sometimes contemplate giving up comfort and financial security for more adventure and raw experience. I doubt I would regret it. It's a very difficult move to make. Diving headfirst into the unknown can be scary, surely DMT is an apt metaphor here. I like to think that sometime in the not too distant future once I've accumulate enough wealth to survive for.. who knows how long.. that maybe I'll take that opportunity to devote myself to something truly fulfilling. It's almost like I'm waiting for a signal of some kind. In the meantime, enjoying myself just fine and riding out this dream called life, looking forward to what comes next. What is your biggest insecurity?

It's a shame you think that "depth of experience, spiritual exploration, overall joy" is worth pushing aside and pushing away till later in life for such things as an extremely well paying job, health, and generall contentment. I suppose deep down I really am apprehensive of the feeling of regret for not having lived my life to the best (the thoughts before death like "I wish I boned my secretary" even though it is so difficult to find the place of motivation for such revolutionary change.I would hate to ride out the dream called life waiting for what comes next like all the other sheeple only to realize that the purpose of life was to wake up from the dream. I don't mean to be intrusive but I have to say that that is an incredibly typical response which is what I thought I would get. Few people can really think deeper than the base level thoughts that spring forth when they hear things like "existance? pathetic?" I would really have liked someone to as you say dive headfirst in to the unkown with there existential analysis and philosophical enquiry to generate an interesting and thought provoking read. I wonder why it is though that some people just cant seem to stop and think creatively about things, for instance when in a conversation and people just say the first thing that pops in to the minds about any given subject. Of course I am a victem of this and repeatedly do this often mostly due to the fact that people demand an instant reply and judge you as stupid or slow if not but really I wish I didn't because that type of superfast/push-shove conversation usually leads to bland, non-thoughtout dialogue.

My biggest insecurity is no insecurity because insecurities are illusions of the ego. This is to say that I do not identify my ego as myself but rather as an aberration in the psychology of humans that has taken place as a result of millenia of educational or institutionalised programming, most often via language. In this respect I list my true self as an animal on planet earth with the most fundemental aspects that come encoded in to my genes and nothing more. Therefor, my biggest insecurity is the fear of death which is ubiquitous throughout all living organisms on earth. This I believe, like the ego, is still a barbaric and vulgar irregularity of the mind even though it is the foundation that nature uses to cultivate it's organisms.

Perhaps in a passing thought (specifically anyone who murders and/or rapes. Also those that destroy for no valid reason or those who bring evil everywhere they go just for poops and giggles), but in reality, all life deserves an equal opportunity to live and experience. Who are we to snuff out life? We don't even know exactly what makes up "life" so to dictate who can and cannot live seems arbitrary... ... I mean, we know the chemicals and elements that make up a living thing but what causes consciousness/awareness is unknowable at this point in time. If you died in the next 24 hours, would you be prepared to meet the end/beginning?New to The Nexus? Check These Out: One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish

Absolutely not! I've recently had a life changing experience, and my heart is open and my life is flooded with love and joy that I am not ready to leave yet. I want to live like I never have before! Have you made peace with your past? Forge a Path with Heart <3

I have made peace with my last 2 marriages and all the lying and ill spent youth I've had. Trying to make peace with the debt is the fun part now. Has anyone here looked up the word 'intrusive'? * Everything I write is made up tripe: whispers of wind coming off the blades in my face for I am a fictional man with a floor fan for a brain pan.
Say something to my face, I have no choice, but to replace my reply, with your Darth Vader voice!

I guess I found the most intrusive question according to the definition. Just thought that a thread inviting such questions negated them automatically from being intrusive. Joke question. Lets see if i can restart this. SO, to answer my own question as I'm the next poster, Yes, I looked up the definition of intrusive. Question to next poster: Have you been caught masturbating and if so what was the other person reaction? * Everything I write is made up tripe: whispers of wind coming off the blades in my face for I am a fictional man with a floor fan for a brain pan.

As life is ultimately a sex act of masturbation, I am that permanent vacation Question to next poster: If you are granted the power to ascertain any understanding possible about the nature of anything what would it be? Genesis is Now, the Mind is Incarnate.

Quote:Question to next poster:
If you are granted the power to ascertain any understanding possible about the nature of anything what would it be? This question is indeed a favorite of mine. If I were to chose, I would chose to understand the nature of myself. The mystery is great n' all (nah it isn't)-but i'd love to put the eternal mystery to rest and establish total dominance, power, control and knowledge over my psyche and self. I wish to see just who and what exactly I am without having to go through the trouble of conceiving and raising children so that way I may be able to go through life strong and bold with the knowledge of just WHO and WHAT and WHERE and WHY and HOW and WHEN I am/is/are/be unafraid of the mystery within and without. Total understanding, the final quenching of the unquencheable thirst for understanding of the nature of the self and the other is what I crave most above all. To the next hominid: Tell us the story of how you lost your virginity '"ALAS,"said the mouse, "the world is growing smaller every day. At the beginning it was so big that I was afraid, I kept running and running, and I was glad when at last I saw walls far away to the right and left, but these long walls have narrowed so quickly that I am in the last chamber already, and there in the corner stands the trap that I must run into." "You only need to change your direction," said the cat, and ate it up.' --Franz Kafka

I lost my virginity sometime around Fall of my Senior year in highschool. With a girl I consider my first love and carried on a relationship with for about 2 years after. She was also a virgin. Sex itself that day isn't super memorable. It was fun, but I think we had already explored each other quite a bit before and sex wasn't actually as 'climactic' as expected haha. Looking back, I suppose it was a healthy and 'normal' way to lose my virginity, and I'm glad it happened the way it did. Tell me about your most recent and current inner struggle or challenge. How have you been able to resolve or surmount it? Living to Give
