been hearing and investigation some stuff along the lines of entheogenic liberty, specificly sources that can be grown locally found the most appropriate plants to be phalaris and autumn olive, i have been able to find some good info on phalaris...people dont seem to be talking as much about autumn olive...or maybe i just didnt see it, basicly i would like to know if anyone has any personal experience working with this betacarboline producing plant, i have a pretty big one i was thinking of pruning, could make some tea if there are no concerns with its profile balance...all suggestions welcome
ive received the trans dermal download in the apousal lounge

no disease could possibly survive in such a wiggly environment!

I PM'd Felnik recently about the use of autumn olive, he says it is definitely MAO-inhibiting, and I believe there's some reports here of his experiments smoking and orally ingesting it. He suggests a Manske extract of the bark or less efficiently the leaves.

Smoking some of the leaves could be a good way to get to know this plant without too much commitment.
A tea of the leaves would get you there too.
The real strengthy part of the plant would seem to be the inner bark near the base of the stem.

I'm interested as well, but I keep putting off bioassays for some reason, I have plenty of material nearby of russian/autumn olive.

Smoking autumn olive leaves is psychoactive! But it's easy to understand why this is a lesser used species.

It feels vaguely harmala-y, there is that deep vibration felt throughout the mind and body as with rue and aya, but Surprised very different

I'm exhausted from getting up at the crack of dawn, having a bit of mushroom tea, and roaming/thinking/berry picking all day, so doubtless I'll have to provide some better descriptions after I test this plant a little more. Does grab the psilocybin in an odd direction though, seemingly overpowering, but maybe just cause it's been metabolizing so long.

For those who might wish to use this in a changa blend, I would highly suggest you research and feel out this plant before taking it with you into deep water.

It's like a wild untamed animal at times . Not quite as refined as ayahuasca . Can be intense .
