Apologies, I couldn't see a New Topic button in the News forum and I'm writing this from my phone so won't give a full synopsis but the DEA chief is expected to resign and hopefully be replaced by someone more in touch with drug policy reform. How is the head of the DEA appointed? I would like to place my vote for someone with an appropriate scientific background... Maybe Dr. Carl Hart?

Presidential Appointment w/ approval from a congressional committee, so don't get your hopes up for anyone too liberal/intelligent.
