Normally I would agree that he burned the spice, and I still might, but I also have to wonder if the combination of cubensis and 5-MeO can't be nauseating in its own right (even though Xt didn't get nauseous, that doesn't exactly prove much). Tryptamine overload could have caused the nausea.

My experiences with 5-Meo-DMT, have been interesting.

This is a very strange tryptamine, and as Pandora has said, it really "tests your tripping skills".

Ive had a few experiences smoking it, I've yet to go any higher then 12mg, but I do plan to go high enough, and experience 'the void' but I am in no rush.


Smoking it has given my some really strange effects. For me it has usually only been dysphoric while smoking, or with about 5 seconds of a warm rushing, then quickly to this strange, extremely 'REAL' feeling, and a strong tryptamine nausea, and it always caused over-salivating.

My vision seems to sharpen, any visuals, are extremely mild, but seem to be black and white.


Now another experience, much more pleasant, I took 5mg rectally, and after about 10 minutes, I felt a warm, pleasant, psychedelic euphoria, I took another 5mg this way, and it continued. I had no visuals whatsoever and I was still able to act quite normal, the warmth was almost opiate like.

I then smoked a single hit of cannabis and quickly I was very high.

Then I was a bit worried, because my body was shaking quite fast, and my heart rate was going EXTREMELY fast, as if I just finished running a marathon or something. I was still quite coherent, so I started a timer on my computer and checked my pulse, I counted 28 beats in 15 seconds, which means my heart rate was 112bps, which is quite high for just sitting on the couch.

This went away after about 10 minutes, but still it was quite strange.

5-Meo-DMT is a strange strange tryptamine.

hmmmmmm, 5meo does seem to be an interesting molecule. I am curious about why there seems to be a difference in experience with this molecule. It seems like there are two types of experiences. Some people come off saying it was GOD INCARNATE and the most powerful of any substance ever. The other people seem somewhat underwhelmed, like, "it was like a void with few visuals. Sedating. Also had some nausea and other weird and unwanted physical side effects".

But, it seems like most people agree that n-n is a superstar.

I don't quite know what I'm talking about when I ask this, but does anyone know, or have there been any studies done, to show what different receptor sites N,N and 5-Meo "target" to explain why there is such a difference in experience between the two molecules?

I recently received 250mgs of 5meo and have had two experiences so far. The first was with 3-4mgs out of my vaporgenie (not glass) and produced nothing more than a slight body high and caused some tracers. I was excited to explore further so a few days later I tried loading up 10-11mgs into the vg. I was able to take about 5 hits from it before I decided I was good. DAMN, everything is so much more sensual than on nn. Waves of euphoria and awe would sweep through my body and leave just as quickly as they had came. I did not see any closed eye visuals but with my eyes open the walls of my room were morphing and melting. I felt rather incapacitated like all I wanted to do was lay there and breathe. The best way I can describe this molecule is that it will do for your body what dmt does to your brain

I know I´m posting in this tread a little later,but I just find today and I feel in the mood to write.Two month ago I manage to get some 5-meo-DMT- At the same time I begun to read Tryptamine Palace,a great book writed by James Oroc ( I recomended it very much! ) First thing I learn is that 5-meo-DMT has to be treated with a lot of care and respect,since the dosage is a quarter less than DMT. I coudlnt finish the book before I beguin to try this sacred substance. My first try was with 5 mg. I just can feel the power,but I was allways very concient and couldn´t separate from my ego that time. It was advised to beguin with low doses and increase it as soon one become confortable with the experineces. After two more time I decided to try a full dose looking for all the power release that the compund promise. So I weigh up 12 mg and load it in my bongo/bottle aparell. It was amazing!!! It start very quickly,and a very intence wite ligth start to shine all around me....in fact the ligth takes me and carrie-up me to another dimension. I coudln´t feel my body anymore and although I tryed to breath I notice I do not control it anymore. When the effect began to decline and I feel my body again ,with my arms raised all I could said was....everythig is ligth,I am ligth, I was in the ligth !!! During the next 30 minutes I feel and incredible blessing sensation. Everythig was rigth. I know now that is possible to be melted with the ultimate escence of the universe: the light which creates everything and that, ultimately,is God himself. The secret is to let you go with the ligth,just follow it. 5-meo-DMT do the rest.

Back in the day, prior to 'Operation Web-Tryp', I ordered a gram of 5-MeO-DMT from a friendly online vendor.

I did this after looking up the molecule in TIKHAL, and noticing it was the only one that Shulgin gave a ++++.

Alas, I did not yet have a proper scale, so I eyeballed a small amount, and placed it on a bed of indica, in my trusty corn-cob pipe.

It was at night, in my backyard. The stars were out, a beautiful warm summer evening. I laid down in the middle of my trampoline, and got ready.

I lit the pipe, and smoked the bowl, took two big rips, held the last one, closed my eyes.

All I can say is I finally understood what the "White Light" was. The clear light. Cosmic conciousness. Nirvana. Call it what you want.

Seconds after I blew out the final toke, my conciousness exploded with the light of "a thousand suns". It was pure bliss, ecstacy, and very euphoric.

It was all over too fast. Down down down, I felt myself falling into my body. Then I was back. I opened my eyes. Wow!!

Then the coyotes started howling, and I remembered my cat was still outside the walls, in the street, and in harms way.

I got up, smiling, thinking holy shit that was the most amazing thing that I have ever experienced in my life, and went to look for my cat.

I went throgh 3 or 4 grams of 5-MeO-DMT, over the course of a year.

Because the duration of smoking it was so short, I experimented with first snorting 5-10 mg, and after a few minutes, when I could feel the efects starting, I would then smoke another 5-10mg.

This combination increased the duration of the peak from 3-4 minutes to upwards of 20-24 minutes.

Which is both good and bad. Occasionally I would find myself in hell. Which IS terrifying.
However, the times I made it out of hell, and up into the perfection of 'the void', were the most rewarding trips of all.

I was fortunate to have access to this molecule a couple years ago, and after my first experiment with it, my life changed.

Its hard to put into words, other than an experience report, I don't have all that much to add to what's been said, other than, to say 'yes, yes it is'

The void space, the pure consciousness, the clear light, samadhe,the being and reflection of God-its all within this substance. I've been a ''seeker''all my life and the only exclamation I could make once I had a mouth again was 'finally! I am home!'-in my body and nowhere else.

Honestly, millions of words have been written about this experience, from sacred texts throughout human history. I don't know if the authors of the worlds spiritual literature had access to this molecule at times somehow, but the fact of the matter is that 5meo dmt provides a root spiritual experience that not only shattered every single concept I owned, and replaced them with ones that I KNOW have basis and existence in true reality and human consciousness, the roots of spirituality released from dogma.

It removed the possibility of suicide for me,a person who WAS haunted by severe depression, addiction and serious PTSD. It put me on a oath to healing that I'd also looked for and thought I'd never find.

Since then, I've accessed hyperspace several times, and have had very important, highly spiritual experiences with it, but NM DMT will always be the'other'spirit molecule for this old head.

My only breakthrough with this material was putting a small pinch atop some Salvia div. 20x in a pipe and smoking it while Beck's song Satan Gave Me a Taco started up. I rather quickly lost all touch with my surroundings, my sense of self, my idea of me or anything else. Started drifting back into contact with my ego and surroundings before the song had ended and was filled with the kind of exhilaration, joy and excitement I've only experienced upon narrowly surviving a near lethal accident. It was like being reborn into the world for a moment. 5-meo-dmt is much more of a potent, short acting, dissociative than a classic hallucinogen imho, somewhat akin to Salvorin-A.

Lots of good replies here since i last checked, and i'm now feeling very keen to try it out, i have some 5-Meo-DMT HCl, i wonder what would be the best way of taking it?

I'd like to vaporize in a volcano if possible, i like actually seeing the vapor and testing how strong it is, having a sense of how much i'm taking... it seems 12mg is a good dose for a few people in this thread but is that the HCl form or FB?

Really, really intriguing. I've felt a pull for 5-MeO for some time, and things aligned accordingly recently, and I should be meeting 5-MeO before too long.

I absolutely LOVE 5-MeO-DMT so far. I have not had a large dose yet.
It lasts longer with a deeper full being catharsis compared to most DMT experiences. It's also a better empathogen than both MDMA and mescaline IMO.

I finally built up the courage to try some 5 meo dmt i've had for many months now...I put approximately 5mg on a tiny bed of half burnt salvia leaf. I took a tiny toke just to test, and then a few seconds later took the rest. I held it in and closed my eyes. Within a few seconds I started dissolving. I lost all sense of my body, my thoughts, my life...It wasn't dark and it wasn't light where I was. I dont really remember much of it, but as I started to re emerge into my body I remembering thinking...''This is it'', ''I've found it'', and some other thoughts like that.

The re-emergence into my body was very blissful, and euphoric. I opened my eyes and begin to see the room i'm in reforming. The scene is rather fuzzy. My body feels very heavy, but very clean..I can feel and see billions of vibrations in my arms. I am slowly waving them at this point, breathing very deeply, staying perfectly calm, yet it is VERY intense physically and emotionally..though luckily not overwhelming...It was a perfect experience for me...I might try 6 mg next time ....after a few minutes I gather myself a bit more and then think.....this is the perfect foundation for a salvia changa trip...so I loaded up some super strong salvinorin xtal infused nn dmt changa with thh, and proceeded to smoke.... ....to be continued maybe in another thread at another time

I had my second 5 meo experience earlier today. I vaped about 5 mg again but had a completely different experience than the first, this one with eyes wide open..... Basically I experienced a peace, a tranquility, a contentment that words do not do justice. I was empty. It was the cleanest and purest I have ever felt! Extreme clarity, so much freedom with out any internal obstruction.
