I was wondering if any of you guys have read this book by Wasson, Hofmann and Ruck? I haven't started reading it yet, but wanted to know if the theory in it has been renounced in any way by new theories? I hadn't heard of Persephone's Quest, thanks for mentioning it. I saw it gets some pretty good reviews, have just put it on my buying list. Seemed like a very interesting read indeed Can't wait to get started with it. I have now read the book and Mixing the Kykeon and have some questions about this. How can there be debate whether ergine/isoergine is psychedelic? I have never tried Morning Glory seeds myself, but from what I've read and heard it is highly psychedelic. Did they test it in some other form, or is there something else in Morning Glory seeds that make them psychedelic? Does anyone know if the synthetic form of LSA causes nausea as well? Since this isn't mentioned in the Greek texts it makes me a bit doubtful. There must be something we're missing in this whole discussion.
