Ummm, but what about the "course material" ?  “I sometimes marvel at how far I’ve come - blissful, even, in the knowledge that I am slowly becoming a well-evolved human being - only to have the illusion shattered by an episode of bad behaviour that contradicts the new and reinforces the old. At these junctures of self-reflection, I ask the question: “are all my years of hard work unraveling before my eyes, or am I just having an episode?” For the sake of personal growth and the pursuit of equanimity, I choose the latter and accept that, on this journey of evolution, I may not encounter just one bad day, but a group of many.”

I'm not sure either, that's a good question. I would think it would come from the work of people like Stan Grof, Anne Shulgin, and the other practitioners and researchers mentioned as being part of the program. Again, i for one, am very, very, very excited about this as a wonderful, crucial and frankly surprisingly soon, first big step towards the future. Of course it's positive, but until the lawmakers get onboard, it's up there with my Safe Teleportation Course  (PM me if interested). As another thread pointed out, currently California doesn't even respect NAC peyote rights, so it's really hard to see what's on offer here at the present time apart from scatter cushions and breathing advice... Well, the first thing is creating a group of people who can be useful in psychedelic research in human-subjects. If you read the recent New Yorker article 'The Trip Treatment,' they talk about how, as more groups become interested in researching psychedelic drugs, they need people who are trained sitters, so that their subjects can have their experiences in safe environments conducive to growth. Demand for people able to do this will only be increasing as time goes on (assuming the FedGov doesn't decide to stick their noses where they don't belong). Also: MDMA therapy is coming, and it's coming pretty fast: I believe 2021 was the projected date at which we can expect to see prescription MDMA for PTSD. Obviously that's a pretty limited scope of things (there are a lot of drugs that aren't MDMA, and a lot of things that need treatment that aren't PTSD), but there are SO MANY people with PTSD that demand for therapists who can incorporate MDMA into treatment will be HUGE. Finally: now that we as a country are collectively realizing that medical cannabis hasn't caused the collapse of western civilization and that the War on Drugs is objectively evil, I imagine psychedelic therapy will enter the mainstream a lot more quickly than Medical MJ did. I'm sure most of you already know this, but if you register for the MAPS mailing list via email via their website ( www.maps.org ) they send you all the latest news right to your inbox as soon as the information becomes available, I've found it to be a valuable tool for keeping up with news from MAPS.
