Hello nexians!!! i have been a lurker and I also have made a few posts here.... I just got some zinc and i thought i would try some of it on some old bark i have been sitting there...

I would like to ask here if a long soak of the powdered bark in vinegar with diluted zinc would prove to make an effective reduction thus increasing NN-DMT yield after basing the vinegar/zinc/bark solution and then pulling with naptha... does this work???

or should i rather do full-spec xtract with toluene and then do the zinc redux?

Any information about this and which method is theoretically better to get more/ purer spice would be greatly appreciated and thanked in the form of wonderful patterns of sound and vision!

You should do a full spec extraction, and cleanup with a far more selective solvent. You can take advantage of dmt insolubility to heptane though.
