Hello all!
Just finished scraping one of my pulls. Didn't get too much, I'm sadly going to have to buy more soon. But, this batch has been sitting in the refrigerator for a while, so the crystals have combined in a crazy way. Anyways, these crystals seem to be crazy potent with n,n-DMT. They're white as if I dumped bleach all over them, the scraped up bit isn't a powder nor scrapings, they're sweet xtals in a pile waiting to be loaded. The smell is that classic fire dmt smell that gives us all chills! I have about 50-60mg of this gift waiting. I'm training myself to take the big 10 strip plunge and breakthrough on dmt, so I'm trying to open my mind a little before hand. Anyways. Due to the potency of this, id imagine that the amount I have loaded would be equal to a little more. (like saying a hit is double dipped).
I'm searching for a song. I found music dissociates me better and helps me forget about my body. But, only music with no voices, or, none that actually mean anything. I listened to Divine moments by shpongle last time, but I want to listen to a different shpongle song, or any other song that's like what I'm wanting. Any suggestion? No lyrics, no necessary meaning, just something shpongle Esq. Whatcha recommend for this intense journey?
I'm really into the whole ancient Aztec kind of sounds like in DMT by shpongle. Like the deep sounds and just crazy vibrant and echoing sound. You all know what I mean heh.
Thanks!

On topic, the shpongle songs i`d recommend all have some minimal vocals, but are great imo
- I am you
- Monster Hit
- My Head Feels Like A Frisbee
- Around the world in a tea daze

I usually enjoy breaking through in silence, the things I hear in hyperspace are intense enough. But on my last really powerful breakthrough I decided to try some background music. I played an ambient meditation track on YouTube through my headphones and at some stage in the trip I had to rip it from my ears because it became waaaay too much and this was the calmest tune ever made. Probably would have been nice on a lower dose though. Try a few things and get a feel for what you like.

I've been experimenting with different things, but so far this is what I've tried:

1. 1 Hour Chill Out-Instrumental Music-Utopian Sounds
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AcTVU6Q617I

2. Tropical Beach Waves
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qREKP9oijWI

3. Om Chanting
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoYrLM5rGX8

Silence is cool as well, but it's nice to have that background noise there. The Om Chanting is pretty intense in a good way.

With smoked DMT, I always find music very disturbing until the peak is over.

I would suggest the most slow, ambient music, like background music made to help you sleep.

My suggestion is no music at all
you don't need it . Dmt is very pure experience in itself
Over time I've found music during a trip to be an unnecessary cluttering element that cheapens the experience. There are some amazing a delicate sonic nuances that get obliterated by
Background music.
some people like it though but I guess it depends on why your doing it in the first place. I Happen to like silence and quiet.

Personally, I like music. I dig the silence too. I've been doing some of my daily meditations with music too and find that I like mixing it up like that. But for DMT, the music seems so integral to the experience. Particularly with the themes that appear to be developing.

Top Picks
1) "Smile On" first track on Androcell's new album, Imbue.
I only recently discovered Androcell, but he instantly became a favorite--especially for spice sessions. You can visit his website here: http://www.androcell.com/ and you can download all his albums here: http://androcell.bandcamp.com/ and "name your price" which can even be $0. I kicked down though and I recommend the same. I want this guy to never stop making music! Every album is golden. The song I recommended above has a very deep, positive vibe. It came on randomly (shuffle) during the peak of one of my spice journeys and completely filled me with a deep rooted sense of joy and possibility.

2) Anything by Akasha Experience is well suited for a spice journey. Their album Shamanized is probably my favorite, but they are all superb. They also have a bandcamp page: http://akashaexperience.bandcamp.com/ although I got them all on emusic.

3) Entheogenic. Their new album, Enthyomesis, is a gem. http://www.entheogenic.net/

4) If you wanna go even more chill but still have that tryptamine vibe, Shulman and Bluetech are good choices.

5) Digital Mystery Tour also has a couple really good albums. I haven't tested them with DMT yet, but shrooms... oh yeah!

Additionally, I'll describe my setup. Maybe it will spark some creative ideas of your own...
1) Zafu and zabuton in the middle of the room, covered with a soft, furry throw.

2) Beside the cushion are: box of tissues, glass of water, yoga strap, notebook and pen, bass guitar.

3) In front of the cushion are: loaded GVG and lighter. Plus three or four additional measured packets for going back in, usually in incrementally higher doses.

4) And farther out are a pair of studio monitors positioned in an equilateral triangle with my head as I would sit on the cushion.

5) My favorite psybient albums on shuffle.

6) A calm mind and an intention.

However you fly, good luck with it! And be safe.
Approach it and there is no beginning; follow it and there is no end.
You can't know it, but you can be it, at ease in your own life.

Enjoy the Mystery!

You can't really go wrong with Sphongle but the type of music also depends on how deep you're going. Low doses of changa fills me with an energy like no other, I feel so happy to have a body that I leap up and start dancing.

Do The Astral Plane - Flying Lotus
Glawio - Com Truise

I have just come out of an incredible journey whilst listening to Carbon Based Life Forms ( album Twenty-Three) It is my absolute go to album for a profoundly beautiful experience. I also LOVE Vibrasphere - Ensueno Morning Mix as a preflight number to help calm myself down before the plunge Smile

Shpongle - divine moments of truth is what I took my plunge with.., and it's kept me pretty safe when I had alot of pre-flight anxiety/higher doses.

So called 'Pineal Gland Activation' music of some sorts...brilliant

Not exactly a song but I think it's the way to go, give it a try. Really relaxing and goes hand in hand with the visuals.

My favorite music to journey to:

White Rainbow - Keyboard Study No 1 for Essence of Pizza

It's not quite ambient, but very psychedelic and nonintrusive. It seems to propel my journeys along, hyperspace is not the same without it. It's also the perfect length at 14 minutes. I highly recommend giving it a whirl the next time you dose.

Pink Floyd's latest, and LAST album is a psychedelic experience in its own.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADOQQiwgU0Y

I've had DMT-like experiences from smoking ONLY CANNABIS and laying down in the dark and letting the music carry me into new realms.

I can't imagine what it would be like with DMT.

Although, I think it would be more the pace of changa rather than a full intensity maximum acceleration blastoff.

Still a phenomenal composition, it's meant to be listened to as an experience. Like watching a movie, taking acid, etc

http://www.mixcloud.com/ManaWi/dmtrmx/ this one is pretty epic, some one else posted this here on another thread very much recommend.

things to take into account when using music (experience from bad trips)

volume and speed of music,

I once had metallica playing on a mediocre volume not rocking out just chilling and when i blasted off i sent into a spiral literally holding my head spinning to the loudest music I have ever heard, my senses were pushed and it was so loud i could not take it at all i just felt like i was spinning and the music was deafening, not pleasant by any means.

peace and enjoy my friend

I've blasted off to metallica in the past, megadeth too. I found the music wasn't what I needed to go 'deep'.

I've had good luck with static-x, my most powerful expeeiences were with:

Chimaira - Implements of destruction
Chimaira - The heart of it all

It's like the music pulls you in deeper, like shpongle's, however; it lets you go for air before it pulls you back.

I love to have music for low doses. What works great for me is "chill out music" (that is a genre of music) It normally has no vocals and is very... chill.
But for heavier doses I like silence. If there is music it needs to be very subtle.
