Holy crap, maybe we were right all along?!

Star-eaters might exist?
“I sometimes marvel at how far I’ve come - blissful, even, in the knowledge that I am slowly becoming a well-evolved human being - only to have the illusion shattered by an episode of bad behaviour that contradicts the new and reinforces the old. At these junctures of self-reflection, I ask the question: “are all my years of hard work unraveling before my eyes, or am I just having an episode?” For the sake of personal growth and the pursuit of equanimity, I choose the latter and accept that, on this journey of evolution, I may not encounter just one bad day, but a group of many.”

Interesting. I like to think that stars themselves are sentient, I guess you could call me a sun worshiper.

This thread reminded me of something I very recently read on the Hyperspace Lexicon:

https://wiki.dmt-nexus.m...lexicon#The_World_Eaters

NGC_2264 supposedly did not encounter these directly during his hyperspatial travels, but he was shown them by his guide. Maybe our scientific knowledge is finally reaching a point of convergence with what we (as humans) experience in hyperspace? Of course it could be a total coincidence, as planet-devouring was already present in science fiction, such as the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

EDIT: And ofc Man From Chan Chan I just found a discussion of you reading NGC here https://www.dmt-nexus.me...aspx?g=posts&t=62155
