consciousness has appeared to have been raised recently regarding the following:
Integrating my experience.

It would be fascinating to hear your thoughts regarding this phenomena.
What is the nature of this process?
Do we really mean, forgetting about the immediacy of experience and returning to the treadmill..
Or is it something more significant?
Its something I've heard put thus;
"well it usually takes me about a week to integrate my experience"

Just a fun post, this phrase always gives me loads of wtf?!? moments.

to me integrating the experience means intergrating it into your life in a way in which you can use the things you learn during the trip in concensus reality.

Not taking the trip on face value and trying to work out some useful bits of the madness to apply to your life and then applying them. I like to write about my experiences as i feel it makes them more fathomable and i find that if i dont think about them, and put meaning into them, then the experience wouldnt be as useful

if you do a search there is a plethera of topics on intergration
INHALE, SURVIVE, ADAPT

it's all in your mind, but what's your mind???

fool of the year

Every time integration is different. Peeling away layers of illusion takes time to adjust. Reflecting and applying your experiences in a constructive way is paramount, or it's just a waste of time in the long run. Reading. Researching. Learning. Growing. Evolving. These are things I aspire towards with each experience. It's not always easy or fun. I wouldn't subject myself to that unless there was long term pay off.

If psychedelics have shown me one thing, it is that there is no "normal" life. A spiritual life, is about training the mind. "Life is art" is a term that constantly seems to theme most of my tripping. Learn to use the mind how you want, and you can build a reality that you want to see.

While tripping, I generally have a sense that I am observing how my brain works, the more you trip, the more you start to understand about your own mind. Now, many concepts/ideas/emotions while you are tripping seem clear, but upon sobriety, these understandings begin to dissolve. The fact that we no longer feel that sense of understandment does not mean it is not there. You have to know that most of what you are feeling while tripping will disappear after the 'come down,' so the key, at least for me, is to find something, kind of like a mantra, that will help me integrate those vanishing feelings into something useful.

For example...
One of the most important things that I have integrated from tripping was from a trip with the cleanest acid I've ever had. I was in a very social setting, 8-10 people in the basement of my ex's house, and most of us were tripping on something. The group seemed to split up into little cliques of 2 or 3 people each. I spent the whole night drifting from clique to clique. And like I said before, I felt very strongly that this specific trip gave me great insight as to how my mind worked, and reacted, to positive or negative vibes (or energy if you will). Early in the trip, when I would catch a glimpse of any negative emotion or statement, it sent my own brain that direction and soon enough I found myself not thinking as positively as I wished. Recognizing this, I worked with it the rest of the night. If at any point, I caught wind of negative energy, I immediately moved to a new group of people or spent some time in solitude re-stabilizing my mindset. By the end of the trip, I could see how negative thought could prevail before it even got to that point. I saw negativity as an object, before it had a chance to occur. I could sense this type of negative spark in my mind and CHOOSE to dissolve it immediately. I found that emotion is a choice, not meaning you can choose to be happy or sad, but you CAN choose the way in which you think, which in turn creates these mindstates. This skill is something very hard to acquire and maintain while sober, but what I did learn is that energy and emotions seem to be contagious. The more positive vibes, laughter, love, whatever you want to call it, you put yourself in the way of, the more those feelings will fill your life. This may seem obvious to some, but it took really seeing how my brain reacted to positive and negative emotions, while on LSD, to integrate and improve something in my daily life.

If you can imagine something, you can create it, you just have to find a way. And psychedelics are a wonderful catalyst for building the world you want.

Anyways, I hope that seemed like more than an endless rant.
Much love,

thanks for your input.Smile
in harmony with greenality, "no normal life"
undergoing changes within,in regards to ones ego, it dawned on me that our internal personal life can drastically change and yet no one notices.
we wonder what people think of us, or how we are perceived, how liberating to realise that the projections upon us by others have little or no relationship to the truth of our being, one can radically change internally and no one notices...
seems our ego or centre has no discernible features.
and then i realise that when somebody talks with you its not you that they are talking too,
at least not the you that consists of your ideas, emotions etc, rather people seek to commune with us as representations of humanity as a whole...
this led me to two conclusions.
1. psychologically we can change drastically and get away with it.Smile
2. others view us,and we view others as the whole, and therefore we are responsible for that whole.
in the words of j.khrishnamurti" you are the world and the world is you"

For me, I can kind of control what I get out of my trips. For example, if I want to just have a fun time and get mind fucked with a couple friends, I can. But if I want to find an answer about myself, it usually requires meditation while on it, and dedication
You can learn anything about yourself and take it for the rest of your life while tripping on such a powerful hallucinogen. Its just a matter of technique and what you're looking for Pleased

i feel this is a very significant time in human history and us who use the sacred and with the help of the internet share knowledge of the sacred chemical which allows some of us to tap into superconcious levels which then effects the human conscious vibrational level , we are like acupressure points for the planet earth through us an awakening is being faciilitaed. many of us incarnated for this specific purpose

What can/do you control? Isn't it also a question of the dosage (=intension)? F.e. a low dose cubensis let you experience (your)self in a more controlably way (which we know is just the illusion of being in self-control), while maybe high dose cubensis make you feel being everything what has been, is and will be at once and/or interacting in an intergalatical channel with somewhat like entities. To me, the attitude of how to cope with the appearances seems to be an important factor. 100% trust, acceptance and a liquid (vs. sticky) mindset work really well for me, not getting affacted to long by any crazy idea. Enjoying the continouos change of the panorma, based on the idea, that everything is already perfect.

In the last years, I find myself more or less with these two intension: i) having a super fun time with firends, where I can still learn a lot about my self from my projections and reflections and ii) hitting the road in a calm and quiet space, for a high dosed solo flight.

Nevertheless, the "taking home message" of those unbelieveably experiences seem to me really important. This ties up with the initial thread-topic: "How/What to integrate?" On our travels we may have many insights which lead to some theoretical implications for your daily life. But which of these implications are going to be lived out in our so-called reality=? Like, when do you want to start with living your dream, treating others like yourself, or what ever. It took me some time and some exhausting trips to really start living my life, realizing that my outerworld is a permanent mirror of my innerself.

Because life is process to me, what implies that everything is transforming in every moment, I find "myself" as process too.

Due to all the aberrations, which can lead us into madness and are mostly resulting of an identification with the mind and it's content (human is not the mind and it's thoughts, human experiences it's mind and thoughts), psychedelics were, are and will be a great tool to alter consiousenss in a way of human evolution.

For what reason=?

Awakening? Significant time? Hm.. there has to be something special?! Yes.. We have to be special!! PLEASE!

To me everything is already awaken, every cell, every atom, every organism. Everything lives in the now, unconditioned and "super awaken". Pleased Nothing to achieve, just an ongoing transformation, mind is maybe just a result of evolution, a tool and we, as personalities, are just imaginations...
