REPORT
This was my most recent journey since my last posting when I took 50mg and was catapulted a bit too quickly to take much in. This time I used 35mg, and I feel like it was the "perfect DMT trip."

I was to be tattooed later that day. I've been working on a half sleeve that I call "assorted psychedelia" for the past three months, and this will be my third day-long session. I was very excited for it, and in all prior tattoo appointments, I used DMT the morning of the appointment. It has gone well so far, and this was no exception.

I took the dose in and in. There was a tone, but it wasn't completely like Terrance describes. Terrance talks about a steady tone that sounds almost like the stretching of an elastic band. It starts low, then becomes super-high-pitched, until the trip and the tone merge as one into the Chrysanthemum. I had the same crescendo of sound and vibration, but it was broken into chunks, almost like a train approaching--womp, womp, woop, wooop, veeerp, veeeer, veeee, vvvvvveeeeee (or something like that). The visuals also started with similar ascension of intensity and vibration. It started like a film strip, but is completely out of focus (for about 2 seconds) before the movie-reel syncs up and it becomes coherent.

I've had this first image a few times, and in a few forms. Firstly, I the beginning visual was unexpected--it wasn't psychedelic or "trippy" at all. It was as if my eyes were open and I was seeing normal reality, except what I was seeing was clearly not the alter that was before me before I vaporized the dose. I've had two or three experiences where this happens--the trip begins ramping up in the first 15 seconds, then I realize that I'm seeing something normal, like a portal into another part of the world where normal "earthly" things are happening.

This time it was a woman, or a girl. She was between 25-30 years old, and she wearing a dark blue or black dress. She was standing at a doorway, or moving out of it from me, and on the other side of the door way was a field of green plants.

In many of my DMT journeys I've seen the repeated motif of something/someone reaching out towards me as if they're passing me a pipe. The girl in this visual was doing the same thing; she was reaching back to me and looking in my direction too. She was reaching out for me to take her hand and follow her into the field. I could see her so well and so clearly. I could see the features of her face and each strand of her hair. The only thing that wasn't "realistic" about the image was how bright it was colored and how well defined I could see everything.

Forgive me for spending so much time on this minute detail of the trip, but it took me aback to see her so clearly and to be able to remember it after coming out of the trip. In truth however, she only lasted a number of seconds--perhaps 3-5, because before I could even reach out to take her hand, I noticed two things: 1) I thought that I saw a slight bulge in her stomach, and I wondered if she was perhaps pregnant. As soon as I I looked to confirm this possibility however, I made my second profound realization which was that 2) I was there. I had reached the place that Terrance always refers to as "there."

I'd been to this place before, but not so coherently. I could look around and I could take it all in. The walls were made of the same "Magic Eye" material that I've seen on other journeys to this place. The Magic Eye patterning was all red, purple, orange, yellow, and blue. It moved around rapidly and almost "violently" although I was not afraid of it. It was all very similar to the tree that I once saw during a trip using jim-jam wax earlier this year.

Mostly this dome structure/place was empty (although this is a weird thing to call such a place because the wall patterning was moving about with so much energy and life). There were pillars throughout the structure holding the roof up, I assume. The pillars were rectangular and at the base they curved like a quarter-pipe that would be used for snow or skateboarding.

There were a few "entities" in this place, but they were very much not what Terrance describes. Terrance talks about these "dribbling basketballs" that are jumping in and out of your face/body. These were not like that. The entities that I saw were formed of the same Magic Eye stuff that made up the walls, but that was about the only thing that was DMT-strange about it.

There were two of them, or I should say that they were in a pair, because I saw the imagery repeated in many different parts of the "dome" of the trip's peak. It was a mother and daughter. The mother looked down at me stoically (she definitely was pregnant)communication, and had the same arm/hand gesture of the girl at the very start of the trip--reaching out to me to follow her or take her hand. She wasn't alone though, because between her and her hand, almost over the second entity's shoulder, was the daughter. It was a young girl entity. The young girl also looked at me and communicated that I should follow, but all the communication was visual. The two motioned me to follow throughout the journey, and then dissipated into the distance as the trip started to fade.

I opened my eyes. This was probably at the 4 minute mark. I was seated in front of my alter, and above that is my bedroom window. The sun was shining in brightly, and illuminating the incense that was burning on my alter. It was a kind of beautiful that there are no words for. It was magical.

I thought to myself that I could sit and watch that smoke vapor float there in the air for my entire life, but I only did for about two minutes before I found myself (half by will and half by nature) falling over onto my side (I'd been sitting up cross-legged). I slouched over onto the blanket and looked up over my left arm (the same arm that's getting tattooed later that day) to the prism that is catching sunlight in my window. It was spinning around slightly and every now and again it would shine a uniquely-colored rainbow at my eye. It was beautiful. It was so magical.

This was one of the most successful DMT journeys of my life.
