To my last blend I think I've added a tad bit too much caapi spirits. The blend consists of roughly 1:0.8:0.6 herbs:spice:caapi harmalas. Upon smoalking it I can feel the harmalas being too heavy in that it instantly produces high nausea urging me to be assisted by the toilet bowl Shocked. I am kinda anxious as this is the only blend I will be able to have for a long while and the thought of messing it up disappoints me kinda. Can it be saved still, any chances of balancing the ratios or will this only make bits of it stronger and others less potent due to some of the herbs being already infused with goods?

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

I think you'd be fine adding some more spice to your mix.

Just dissolve some spice (200-400mg) into some ethanol in a shotglass and add your changa once the spice is dissolved. Let it soak it all up and then air dry it to make sure all traces of the ethanol are gone.

Check out my changa guide for visual reference. Just replace the methanol with ethanol and omit some steps since your harmalas are already in your changa.

Think maybe I should add more herbs too? Could the blend end up too high in alks thus exposing them to heat degrading and such... ?

I'm not sure how adding more herbs would redistribute the actives.

I think you'd be better off just adding a bit more spice for this blend. That way you know for sure what the potency is and how it's distributed.

As far as adding more herbs goes, I think it would be best to create another blend with different ratios.

Edit* : You could add some neutral herbs afterwards like lotus petals or more fresh peppermint. I just wouldn't try to adjust the dissolved blend too much personally. You're free to try though, I doubt it would hurt anything. It would just make some bits and pieces more potent than others. I prefer as much consistency as possible in my blends.

Yep,exactly where i was pointing. So in other words it's all good to have a blends that are high on alks and little less higher on herbs.

You're right, I just looked at your ratios again and it could use a bit more herbs.

Like I said in my edit, I'd probably stick with neutral herbs after you add a bit more spice or maybe even add the spice to the neutral herbs and mix those with your existing.

You definitely have lots of options.

You could break up your existing batch into several smaller batches and experiment with each of those.

That way you have a "control" to look back to and then a few variants.

It just depends on how froggy you're feeling. Very happy

The extra herbs would help protect the alks more but they also make the blend less potent.

That's the beauty of changa. The possibilities really are endless.
