I've observed something similar when looking at nature during a "jump". The leaves of trees seem to flatten and merge into polygonal planes with projected textures much like a 3d model in an early videogame. Much higher graphic resolution (waking consciousness lucidity) but compressed into shitty low-poly models like what trees would look like in an old video game, lets say grand turismo. Grand Turismo Trees The sky mirrored on itself in a grid-pattern, clouds reflecting upon themselves in peculiar hexagonal patterns. The strangest thing was the fact that with everything distorted and different, my friends around me looked completely normal. They had also smoked at the same time, perhaps we perceived each other as we are normally because we had stepped into a new plane simultaneously.
